    For goodness sake...

LO has just announced that he took his new 'tell the time' watch off at school today and low and behold betwen him going to the loo and coming back, it got smashed...

    Great....

Now im just expected to replace it... Im trying to teach him that he cant just have hand outs but its something I want him to have as time is something he has not really got to grips with and he is nearly 10!! So I either wait till xmas, or give in and buy now...

    *sigh*

Off to my room to fling clothes around...

    Night all xx

Would this be a good time to teach him about saving? Doing jobs and saving the money to buy a new one himself? He might take more care if it was his money that paid for it?
  • I'm not scared of Piggers because I have done lots more than usual this evening. :A:

    I have unloaded DW
    Reorganised cutlery drawer
Wiped DW seal and cleaned filter _pale_ (worst job in the WHOLE world - I'd rather clean a hundred litter trays than stick my hands where Minion doesn't scrape plates properly)
Put remaining things in DW and added some white vinegar to the rinse aid compartment to see if it helps
    Bleached sink again
Put cloths, brushes, etc, into hot bleach solution to soak overnight

    Mucked out splats again
Swept up dropped (fresh, thank goodness) litter off kitchen and showerroom floor
Disposed of splat's litter box rechristening present ten seconds later
    Bleached loo

Fed splats with cheap meat blobs

    Emptied bin

Watered plants in front garden pots
Rescued blue grass type plant and stuck in pot indoors as it has been dug under by someone [narrows eyes at stooooopid splat]

Made sure Minion put her crockery and cutlery in the DW - after scraping the plate off PROPERLY

Inhaled four crumpets and a cup of tea

Made my bed and picked up washing from linen bin before going back downstairs, remembering to take my cup down with me :)
Loaded WM with dark washing, ready to go in morning

    And, best of all -

    1. Listened to stooooopid splat run Minion ragged - he was going out the back door, jumping the wall, walking along the wall, onto next door's shed, down through their garden and along their house out to the front, looking round a bit and then yelling for Minion to let him back in through the front door, walking in, along the hall, through the kitchen and - that's right - he was going out the back door, jumping the wall, walking along the wall, onto next door's shed, down through their garden and along their house out to the front, looking round a bit and then yelling for Minion to let him back in through the front door, walking in, along the hall, through the kitchen and........

He went to sleep on her bed at 9 because he was exhausted from all his exertions.

    and

    2. remembered to take my various meds and gone to bed by 9.56 pm. Now laying here with laptop and purring cat.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Well, last night I managed WM X 1, a little tidy here and there, to put study books in bag ready for Dutch lessons this afternoon and some quality time with the OH. :)

That's it. Washing pile slowly decreasing after I made it massive on Sunday by filling it with bed clothes, a winter coat and hats, gloves and scarves! Need to be all fresh and clean before the cold really sets in. I'm already seeing people wearing thick scarves too and from work and it's still 15 degrees outside! *shrugs*

And, other than the Dutch lesson at 2.30pm, I have a boring day ahead of me as none of my colleagues (from my team) are in today, and I've pretty much run out of work. That's reassuring!
