Flying for the day done. Working to my own plan.

Washing on the line but showers iminent so I'll keep an eye on it whilst I tackle 1 hour of paperwork/computer work.

ETA: I also did ALL the phone calls yesterday including leaving an answering machine message - which I HATE! I thought I was really brave

Wow you were busy! I hate leaving voicemails too, very scary stuff!! Glad I'm not alone in this as it's kinda embarrassing at work :o

    oo arts and culture week

which idiot had the bright idea of getting 30 y 3 children to bring in shoeboxes, paint a backdrop and make a 3D coral reef picture - because the IDIOT who thought of it has to trim the backdrops and fit them to each box, inside

    o that'd be me

In fairness, I wish my teacher had organised a project like that when I was in school...sounds awesome & I bet the kids will love it!

Right, flying! To be honest I haven't really done a whole lot of flying this week *Hangs head in shame*

I think it's because I'm on holiday next week so I know if I get the house clean it'll just be covered in dust again by the time we come back, so is there any point? It's not so gross that it's a health hazard so it can wait a bit longer...right?! :o

I have done some much needed decluttering instead as I feel although my house is generally clean, it's not very tidy (we have not one but TWO rooms of doom!) So I decluttered a load of jeans onto the ever growing ebay pile (I really must make some time to list some items soon, not this week obviously though). Tonight I plan on decluttering a load of tops, this should free up most of my chest of drawers which means I can move some of the clothes that I do actually wear from my overflowing wardrobe into that, & in theory the bedroom will be a lot better for it, until of course, I buy a whole new load of clothes, it's a vicious cycle I swear!

Back to work soon *grumbles*, I hope everyone else is well & I will catch up again soon with hopefully a much better flying update from me lol.

    I agree.

Well, I went back to sleep this morning and didn't wake up until this afternoon . Strange how I have such a difficult time going to sleep in the first place, but when I do go, I can sleep for hours and hours and hours.

I have decided that I am going to stay in trackies and T shirt for the days I intend to be flying, as there is no way I would go out like it. That way I have no choice but to get on with it.

It's a beautiful day here, sunshine, bit of a breeze, so the windows are open to air the place and I am just about to vacuum. The kitchen needs a bit of stuff moved upstairs (clean washing) and the work surfaces bleaching and the hob cleaning, but, all in all, nothing I can't handle.

BTW, Piggers that is a really, really pretty name! [triggers stampede over to FB]
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • Hi all

Boddy - hope SW went well - my step-dad has lost almost 3 1/2 stone and my mum almost 2 stone since March by going to SW.

Not done much flying - I went to my nan's after work as she is 88 years young today.

Determined to do the ironing tonight (hate it!)

    Hope everyone is well xx
