Haha sorry crabapple! I hope you're not a boldie very long!

I dreamt this morning that I queue-jumped, and had twin boys! I didn't dream anything about the labour or birth though, just that there I was in hospital with two babies!

(((hugs))) Aimless, I hope things work out ok when baby does decide to put in an appearance. How far will your OH have to travel?

Sorry Lucy, I have no idea! Surely there must be something your GP could suggest though...
Thanks. I will see what he says. Its unusal to get it in both shoulders at the same time,so im thinking its all the months of sleeping on my sides(normally sleep on tummy but havent since the day I found out I was preg). Got rheumatologist next monday and I know there are safe steroid shots I can have so will get something then. Monday seems a long way off tho at the mo:(

    hello all

Have been getting quite a few stretching ligaments pains - especially when I sneeze - ouch!! I think baby is having a growth spurt as I have suddenly grown out of all my clothes. Rebekah (and anyone else) - I've got quite a few pairs of leggings from Peacocks, not maternity ones, just normal. They're very high-waisted, so come right up over bump, which I find really comfy. And they're very stretchy, so I've found that buying one size bigger than my "old" size fits great (for the time being). They're only £6 a pair too, winner.

I definitely need to buy some maternity clothes though, am running out of things to wear!

Right I'll stop whittering on now...! Happy New Year everyone :)

    BB x

if like me you dont have a peacocks close, george do them for £6 aswel, just make sure there not those stupid ones with skinny legs, i got some the other day, i have had to go for size 18 (was a 12/14 before pregnancy) they are so comfortable i think i am going to live in leggins until i have had baby.

DH and I are starting to plan the bedroom for Elvis once it has been decorated, it will be the box room which (like most box rooms) has the door in the middle of the wall, a window opposite it with a radiator underneath and it also have a box on the left of the door which is the stairs headroom riser - no chance of being able to move this!

Am I right in thinking we don't want to put the cotbed near the radiator? If so the only place we can put it is sort of behind the door. I can certainly put a door stop beanbag on the floor to make sure the door doesn't hit the cotbed but is this a good idea?

    Thanks!

Ps - Any news from Cloudberry yet?

im just wondering, are you planning on putting baby in there once he/she is big enough for the cot, i usually put the cot in my room because they are suposed to be with you for six months and wont last in the moses basket for that long. some parents put them in there own room once they have outgrown the moses basket tho, either way, i think it will be fine as long as baby cant grab the radiator when (s)he is standing up. it will get really annoying when toys are scraped against it.

I did consider this but as we don't have the heating on upstairs it would mean that the boxroom could get quite cold without the radiator on very much?

I'm assuming her room would need to be a little warmer, there is a noticable temp difference as you go upstairs in our house.

im not sure where baby is going to be sleeping after she is six months i already have 2 beds in one room (need to get bunk beds because we cant shut the door) the other bedroom has dd3 in it but a cot in there too would make it so small that no one can move, she may have to stay in our bedroom.

tomorow i am off for some reaserch thingy, they want to test the size of my cervix, how exiting. i was having the test anyway so they asked if they can do it twice once for the research and once because i was having it anyway, then i am getting my steroids for if she comes early. then i have an apointment in neo natal so i can meet babys nurse and have a look round, they do it so you are used to the surroundings so it isnt as scarey when baby goes in, whats the point i have been in before and nothing will make it less scarey, also i havent had labour stopped yet, usually by now i am in hospital on a drip and everything keeping baby in.

i didnt get dressed or anything yesturday today i need to get sorted, i feel like a right tramp in a scabby old dress, i might even put some make up on and straighten my hair.

Good luck tomorrow lovecrafting! Hope it all goes well. It certainly sounds a bit more positive with this pregnancy, if you've got this far without having to be hooked up to machines in hospital... Long may it continue for you and baby!

It's about two and a half to three hour drive. I'm not planning on being that quick, but who can say! :D Don't think there's any chance of me starting in the next few hours.

thanks hun, yeah i am starting to actually beleive i am going to get a baby at the end of this one, ven if something happened now i would be put on the machines and they can keep her in for 2 weeks. things are looking up this time definatley, who knows i might even go full term (lol ok thats not going to happen but theres no harm in hoping)

is anyone else doing the research thingy, its an internal then progesterone followed by another internal to see if its thickened the cervix?

i just finnished another cardigan and its so cute, i need to do the berret and little shoes to go with it but having little baby things dotted about is so nice. DH even mentioned baby shopping the other day so i think we are turning a corner.
