lol mirrorimage, it is normal to feel broody around this time, your body is begining to get back to normal, those hormones are calming down and your body almost craves them. its normal dont worry.x
im having a really good debate on a facebook group about formula feeding, i was annoyed because they always make people feel bad if they bottle feed and i just had to do it, so i went in and told them that if i choose to bottle feed my baby wont be any less loved or cared for (for the record i will be breastfeeding for a wile then changing to formula) they dont like my comment one bit.0 -
phew thank goodness for that.x
ive never known a baby to be damaged by being bottle fed (unless they are allergic to formula) i breast fed my 3 to start with and then changed to bottles as they have all been hungry babies and if im going to function proprly i need some sleep. samuel is in the proces of being changed to formula with the odd feed from me. each to thier own i think, if you want to do it and are able to then great, but if you cant then ont feel guilty or bad,
samuel is 13 weeks old and has had 2 colds already and he has been breastfed. bah humbugnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
Awwww beautiful pics of amy:)
Argh arthritic shoulders are getting on my nerves now and paracetamol are useless:mad: if I were to go to the docs tomorrow,do you think they'd be able to give me something safe but a bit stronger?
I take medication during pregnancy for arthritis, I was lead to believe two types of tablets are considered safe but I see a rhumatologist for them, don't think a GP would give them. My tablets were switched to these safer ones before I tried to get pregnant this time and I just have to take a high does of folic acid with them which is prescribed. Also had injections in the past when not pregnant and was told early on in this pregnancy to contact the specialist if I had a flare up as could be given an injection so must be something you can have. Hope you get sorted soon.0 -
I completley agree, its all about choice at the end of the day, alot of the problem now is, midwives etc are not allowed to help you with bottle feeding anymore, so issues will arrise because they dont have the freedom to help when its needed0

Well, +3 and i'm still here. No real signs other than this tummy ache and back ache still, and i keep getting bizarre urges to do random stuff. This morning i woke up DH to tell him we had to get up and make fudge. Hmmmm. He was a bit bemused but was surprisingly agreeable. But we need to hoover the stairs and living room first.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Lucy, I think its Co-codamol that the Dr will give u. I was offered it a few weeks back for my SPD, but it makes me throw up so i declined!
Lovecrafting, i`m also in a 3 bed house, DD1 is in the smallest room (not quite a box room, can just about fit bunk beds in) and the other 2 r in the back room, which we have been in before now, can just fit the double bed in and a chest of drawers (built in wardrobe in every room). Not sure what we r going to do when baby needs to go into his own room. Either all 3 girls in the master room, they will fit easily enough, and baby in small room. Or, DD1 and DD2 in small room in bunk beds, and DD3 sharing with Baby for a yr or so until he really needs his own roomor, move house lol!
Oooh, i`d love to be in that facebook debating group, I have bottle fed all 3 of mine, DD1 purely because I just didnt want to breastfeed, then the other 2 as DD1 have Dairy Intolerance so was just easier to put them on special formula.
I am living in leggings, and can vouch for the Asda ones, they r alot thicker than most shops, Sainsburys are the same price, but not much thicker than Primark!!
Mimi, ur baby is gorgeous!!! I cant wait til this lil man is out for cuddles!
Back to the school runs 2moro, should be funneed to find a way to make sure i`m not ready to pass out by the time I get there every morning..... xx

Congratulations to the new Mums! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year
Nothing much happening here, had a nice relaxing time. Bump seems to have worked out how to jam his feet into my ribs, which is interesting... Did so much sales shopping that we're almost sorted for next Christmas
I've been doing a lot of thinking and have decided to try and go for a home birth instead of going to hospital. Just have to tell the midwife on Thursday - hopefully letting her know at the 36 week appointment isn't too late to arrange things!!!! If I leave it a week or so I can buy a pool, and return it unopened if it doesn't get used, within their full refund period.0 -

38 weeks is the cut off point to tell the midwife, dont let them fob you off with being under staffed the law in the uk says you are entitled to ante natal care and it extends to home aswel.
the pool thing might be a bit of a rush job tho, but you will manage it.x0
