- NHS prescriptions, but only if you have a valid maternity exemption certificate (MatEx)
- NHS dental treatment if, when you are accepted for a course of treatment, you are pregnant or have had a baby in the previous 12 months
Your MatEx will last until 12 months after the expected date of birth of your baby. If your baby is born early you can continue to use your MatEx until the certificate expires. If your baby is born late you can apply for an extension. If you apply after your baby is born, your MatEx will run for 12 months from your baby’s birth.
For more information on how to apply for a MatEx visit the NHS Business Services Authority website.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Lovecrafting, lets face it, we r having baby number 4, we WILL sneeze and it will fall out
My girls have just watched that superhero film, its called Sky High and they (and DH!) love it lol, altho we r a household of Superhero lovers (ask Gilly how annoying that is!)
When i had DD1, the midwife gave me some local anasthetic gel to put on my pads to numb the stitches area! Was amazing stuff! I cant use Sudocrem as i`m allergic to it lol. Even though i had stitches with DD2, i really didnt have any probs at all. And DD3, no stitches at all thank goodness, and she was 8lb 14oz!Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Hope everyone had a good Christmas.
HUGE congrats to jenjade and kimmy on their new arrivals.......
All going fine here. Have been put onto blood pressure tablets, as I couldn't seem to shift it from about 140/90. I think they were on the fence on whether to medicate or wait. Need to have blood pressure checked each week now and it has come down a bit. The wrist straps from the gp are helping my carpal tunnel, as I'm not needing to pry open any fingers in the mornings after waking up, lol. Looks like I can add swollen feet to the list like some of you ladies too. Just over 4 weeks til due date now, so it feels like we're on the last stretch. I keep adding things to my hospital bag and we're feeling quite ready now.
2 weeks until I finish up work.... and I'm counting the daysTTC #3..........0 -
Does anyone else have a heart shaped uterus? I have read online and it seems I will be at a higher risk or breech baby requiring C section, low birth weight, or pre-term deliver. Am very upset about this as I wanted a natural delivery. They found out I had a heart shaped uterus at my 7 week scan. I'm really scared now.0

Just said a very rude word when I saw the updated list - how did I get up there!!
Been to midwife this morning. Baby is still at 3/5 but then they can drop at the last moment, and I am so fed up now I really did not want to be making an appointment for next week, but at least if I do have to go there will be a chance of a sweep then to encourage her out :-)
Sorry Rebekah, don't know anything about that but there's likely to be someone who does on here. As much as it's scary, they will keep an eye out for any issues arising.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Been for my 31 week check, not back until 35 weeks now. I'm wondering why I am on the odd weeks not the evens?
Elvis is head down on my right side so I'm hoping she will stay there, none of this wriggling around upsidedown malarky! My 28 week bloods were all fine so nothing much to report.
Can any tell me - the books suggest that 1-2 stone weight gain is expected for pregancy - is this including the baby and all it gubbins (placenta, fluids ect) or excluding?
Thanks!
