been into town. no rubber rings in poundies unfortunatley but boots had them (ebay is way way cheaper, hubby looked at the price and laughed alot i didnt see how much they were, didnt need to look after that)

went into the knitting shop and finally got some buttons so i can finnish a little cardi i am making for babie, wile i was there i had to look at the patterns, would have been rude not to even tho hubby had a hissy fit when the bill came to £20.. he thought i was only buying buttons lol

managed to get myself some cheap tops in the george half price sale got little ones slippers refunded and got her different ones in george. then dd3 announced she needs boots so we had to go on a hunt for those, town was packed out so i made a bee line for a sandwich shop, bit of a mistake, it didnt taste nice.

went into the pagan shop and managed to get some eucalyptus oil for burning, i will get over this cold or whatever it is and my kids will not complain about the smell. ha who am i trying to kid.

how did i manage to spend so much money, it dosent even look like i got much

i didnt realise it was so late, now i need to make tea.. i may have to just cast on this cardie first tho

Well ladies I thought I should post a picture of this, after the heartache I went through to get it, even now when I look it, it is a bit boring and bland :rotfl: but I do love it.

I too went to town, and didnt even see any rubber rings/cushions! I`m sure i have a few in the outerhouse from summer so will have a root when i get chance! Was really lazy and got Mcdonalds for tea, New yr resolution is to not have takeaways, and if i feel like one, then to physically put the cash into a money box, and after a few months see just how much we have saved! I spent £32 on pizza last fri, and £21 on mcdonalds today ....hmmm, not good :( xx

  • Hope everyone is ok. I became an auntie again this morning to another niece. I have 5 of them now and seem to be the only one that produces boys!! My brother phoned me to tell me the news and gave me a message from his wife that she would highly recommend an epidural. Only yesterday she told me she was scared of having one so I presume the pain must have got to her. Going to visit later and I'm excited to see the little munchkin.

My friend was lucky enough to pick up a Y plate Zafira with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax for £900! We have a motability car because of DH. It was just lucky timing that the car exchange date, giving back our focus, is 2 weeks after baby is due. Considering we were trying for a baby for 6 months, we`d have been stuck while we waited! And, the Zafira we are getting, was actually cheaper than ALOT of the normal 5 seater cars! Madness!
Whoever asked about weight gain??? I have put on 3-4 stone each time, oops! lol xx
