Am awake with a thumping headache had it at tea time, but its all across my forehead, right down across my ears and the top of my neck?? Very strange. Not impressed as didnt even nod off until gone 12, then was up at 2 rooting for the gaviscon. 2day will be a fun and long day i`m sure.

Morning all!

Hope things have developed in the night for Mimi!

It's my last day at work today! After my false start a couple of weeks ago, I'm finally on maternity leave! :j Roll on 2pm...

Plus I had the best night's sleep last night that I've had for a while! Only got up once and didn't have the usual two or three hours of being wide awake with heartburn...

Right, the cat has come into the bedroom demanding to be fed so I guess I'd better go do that... Catch you all later...

RE the rubber ring after birth, I'm planning to use my widgey breast feeding pillow, it's only 20 quid from asda and it is a godsend already when I have a bad back so just a tip for something you can get a few uses from - probs comfier than a rubber ring too

I just had the sleep from hell. I have the worst cold and can hardly breath. My throat is burning and I kept waking up with heartburn and then to go for a pee. Then just as I though it couldn't get worse, I get a fright when milk starts running down my arm!! :eek: It doesn't stop there though, I just got up to blow my nose again and threw up! I've given up on sleep now, just had a good sleep deprived cry.

I can't wait until this is over - so frustrated now. I had my midwife phone me too and say the spatone hasn't elevated my iron so I'm back on iron pills from today

I keep saying to OH say goodbye to me with a bump because this will be an only child!! Lol I know it'll all be worth it for those mummy cuddles though...

erm i dont know hun. i have to drag my a55 into town today and am going to have a look. i find they have out of season stuff all the time, if i see one easter egg in town today i am going to scream, i dont know who it was but someone told me they saw some in town i was really supprised.

well. i can breathe yay.. kind of anyway, but better than i could before, (tmi allert) i woke up and couldnt breathe out of my nose, its not the nicest thing when being sick, your body goes into panic mode it was disgusting. i hate being sick, a little bit of wee came out aswel. must remember to see the midwife about that its not the first time its happened.

i havent left the house (apart from going to the chemist one street away) since christmas eve and the kids are getting cabbin feever so today i am going to nip into town and pick up a few veg bits for new yr. i might have a look at the sales wile i am there, still not buying baby stuff for another 2 and a bit weeks. unless there is a hige bargain to be had then it would be rude not to.x

If you see any Lovecrafting then post here and I will send someone into town to buy a rubber ring for me just incase. No way I can make it into town anymore! Thanks for the advice on that, had seen a few people mention they were a simple godsend after birth - was looking on ebay and they sell proper ones for about £14.99 which is wayyyy to much! Just want a kids rubber ring :-)

Went out to an all you can eat buffet type asian restaurant last night, loved the food, think its the 1st time I got my moneys worth! Then went to the cinema to see Sherlock Holmes and struggled to stay awake - nothing to do with the film it was great but after being filled up with food and sat in a comfy seat made me want to sleep!

Oh and yes Emmy due in 6 days now so hopefully will find a ring somewhere this time of year
