Hi everyone...
Mega tired again today, but am pleased that I managed to get through the night without waking up at 3am all heartburny... Just woke up at 5am instead with a sore throat and cotton wool-filled head! Yay
Just thought I'd let people know that the muslin cloths appear to be back in stock on the Tesco Direct website, in case anyone wanted to get some... I've just ordered a pack, along with a cot bed mattress protector and some sheets and thanks to clubcard vouchers have paid 78p!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
I want to go to my bed!!!!!! I am in the complaining mood - just complained to our big boss about the way my group is run. Just got fed up with empty promises over the years... I guess my boss is not going to like me for that, but then - I don't think he ever liked me, so sod it. I am leaving in 3 months for my long maternity leave, and unless there is a drastic change, I am not sure I want to be back.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Tell me ladies, @26weeks I have pressure on the lower part of my belly, and occasional mild stinging/pulling on my urethra but I'm only having to wee about every hour or so. If I wasnt pregnant I'd be sure it was the beginning of a uti but as its my first baby I dont know what is normal. Should I bother the midwife/doctor or ignore it as another symptom of pregnancy?:A:A:A:A:A:A0

Ok, I have a financial question - should I reduce my pension contributions now, with the view that less would be deducted from the maternity pay once I get there? Does anyone know what weeks are used to calculate maternity pay?Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

My right hand was really swoolen last night and i couldnt bend my fingers. also my right ankle keeps swelling up. it can be a sign of high blood pressure mazzyc so you should get it checked out
Thanks. I've got my midwife appointment on Friday. A bit tense now after reading it could either be carpal tunnel syndrome or a sign of pre-eclampsia. Hopefully its just carpal tunnel syndrome.........DFD February 2012

safesound It's better to be safe than sorry, if there's any tenderness or pain there at all I'd be inclined to get it checked out. When is your next appointment? Presumably they'd be checking urine then anyway?
Gin Seems to be 26 weeks up to your 15th week of pregnancy according to the website, but not sure if that is correct? Someone else will more than likely correct me if I'm wrong?
I have a cribit's built and looking lovely. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.

Hi safesound, I've not had anything like that so I wouldn't ignore it. UTI's are common in pregnancy and do need to be treated, so give the midwife a ring.TTC #3..........0 -
Maybe, but my house is a mess at the moment, too many parcels and packaging arriving on the one day, plus I've been sleeping for the past 3 hours, and OH has been in charge

Gilly - just caught up for the last couple of days. What a farce with all your deliveries!!!! M&P's should be ashamed at the "service" that you've received.
Thankfully, our missing car seat arrived on Saturday morning from Mothercare. I got all the baby things washed over the weekend and noticed that we don't have any 0-3 months vests, lol. I have newborn and then 3-6 months, so will need to pick up a pack at some point.
My wrist straps/splints are making my carpal tunnel symptoms a little better (i.e. I've not had to pry any of my fingers open in the mornings). :rotfl:
Looking forward to xmas now, and have even opened a nice tin of M&S shortbread yesterday to get into the festive spiritTTC #3..........0
