We had this problem with the council contractors putting cards through the door without knocking. We eventually put a big sign on the door saying 'we are in, please ring the bell.' that seemed to do the trick!

I have taken to having anything delivered to my parents address which is only a 5 minute drive away as my Dad works from home so always more likely someone being home. I hate waiting for deliveries - im the paranoid type where I feel the need to watch out the window all day just incase they come and I miss them. Hope it comes early tomorrow Gilly so that you can still enjoy your day together.

Im feeling slightly annoyed lately with my DH....I was reading in one of the pregnancy books we have about what the father can do - especially around the end of pregnancy to make the lady feel happy (treat her to something nice no matter how small etc...) And it occurred to me he never ever buys or does a single thing for me like that any more. Just made me feel a bit emotional - before we were married now and again he would surprise me with a little something - now he wouldnt even think of it. Sounds so selfish I know but I just feel like a little treat now and again! If im ever out and see something he might like I always get it for him.

Hugs Cloudberry, I think men sometimes have no emotional radar at all, mines brought me in a nice latte from Starbucks yesterday and was acting like he'd just presented me with a diamond ring. Yes I was pleased he'd bought it without me asking, but I should have been on my knees worshipping him the way he was acting. Yeah right...

Ahh Gilly at least hes trying! I think obviously feeling that bit more emotional doesnt help! But whe he started asking me what was wrong and I end up blubbering 'you never think of me, sometimes a girl likes to be treated now and again' Then 2 weeks later still nothing ....hmmpfff.

Writing it almost makes me feel bad for thinking this way ....he works hard and does anything I ever ask him to do - I know thats a lot more than what other have so should be grateful really!

Oh I'm a horrible cow, I know I am but I'm always doing thoughtful nice things, without being asked. I'm the same, if I ask, he'l do it, but sometimes it's nice not to have to ask, not to feel like the nagging gf/fiance/wife whatever once in a while.

When he moans I nag or I'm stroppy my reply is always "well if you done it in the first place it wouldn't get this far"

Know exactly what you mean! I hate the questions like what do you want me to do? I feel like if I can see things need putting away or tidying up then why cant you!

My OH is rubbish when it comes to buying baby stuff and getting excited about stuff like that but he does give rubs, gets drinks, runs baths, so I'm grateful for him doing that.

More Braxton Hicks today. Noticed they are worse at night if I've walked in the daytime for a long time

Went in the money drain known as Mothercare today.
Got 3 gorgeous Humphreys Corner outfits. All were originally £25ish for each set. Cost me £23 for all 3 outfits so I'm well chuffed.

Family are now placing bets on when Bump will make an appearance. OH's folks say 3rd of January. Mine say 7th. I just hope it's before Jan 24th cos bump is huuuuge now.
