Im feeling slightly annoyed lately with my DH....I was reading in one of the pregnancy books we have about what the father can do - especially around the end of pregnancy to make the lady feel happy (treat her to something nice no matter how small etc...) And it occurred to me he never ever buys or does a single thing for me like that any more. Just made me feel a bit emotional - before we were married now and again he would surprise me with a little something - now he wouldnt even think of it. Sounds so selfish I know but I just feel like a little treat now and again! If im ever out and see something he might like I always get it for him.

My DH is pretty much the same, he just doesn't think, I don't think he's ever surprised me with anything! Occasionally he'll buy me something to wear but only because its something he likes and wants to see me wearing (think shortish, fitted dress or boots or tights/stockings). He doesn't really like my taste in clothes I don't think!!

I've been awake most of the time since 3.30am. Was just uncomfortable and baby was kicking! Annoyed with DH as what actually woke me up was him doing the loudest trump you've ever heard lol!!

Out for xmas lunch with work today, nothing fancy but hope it takes a while as I'm bored so the longer we're out the office the better! Can't wait to finish for xmas but I'm working till the end of the week. Think I might take a half day on friday though as I'm meeting my friend for lunch and that'll mean I don't have to rush back.

Whoever bought humphrey's corner outfits.....I'm dead jealous! I LOVE humphreys corner and we have the mothercare bedding range for our bump but the outfits all seem to be gender specific and our bump is yellow!

Gilly, REALLY hope the deliveries get sorted today. I HATE couriers, especially when annoying people buy stuff on ebay then expect you to wait in for a courier to pick it up when you've put royal mail only and its no cheaper by courier!

    Morning Everyone!!

Finish work on Thursday, yay!!!!! Can't bear sitting behind this desk any longer for 8hrs a day! Then back 30th July (if the money holds out!!)

My fingers are still giving me problems, they actually felt numb at the tip this morning and I can barely move them in the morning. Oh the joys of pregnancy haha

Sorry, I am can't. I am only 15 weeks, and as soon as I feel the heartburn coming up, I take rennie, it seems to help. Milk is usually only a temporary relief for me.

Sorry to hear about the indigestion. Mine's pretty much OK with a half glass of milk before bed. I've also tried peppermint tea (works well for me) and DH made me eat a slice of bread and butter when I was particularly bad one day, and that really helped too.

Good luck with todays delivery Gillyx, really hope they manage to got it to you this time!

My doctor didnt believe that the pill wouldn't work for me until I had a coil baby and a implant baby, both conceived a few months after they were placed . This baby is too a pill baby however I have since discovered dianette is about as good as preventing pregnancy as saying 5 hail mary's.

Its is possible for women's hormones fight against hormonal contraception, it is also quite hard now to get a PCT to sterilise a woman under the age of 30, believe me I have tried.

Ds1's placenta contained my mirina coil.

I do get really wound up when stories like this are met with criticism.

I can see your point and i know that a lot of people get pregnant while on contraception but wouldnt the condom work for everyone?

    Hope we didnt offend you

    Hi everyone

Jenjade I hope your little lady makes her appearance soon :)

I am so sorry if I missed any details earlier in the thread when I wasn't around but do you have any tips on where you got all those wonderful freebies???:D:D:D

I have a few vouchers but all of them seem to be money off and I did get a small freebie from Tesco I think, a small pack of baby wipes, already gone on *someone's* mascara at night

Thanks in advance!!! I aspire to your stash lol my OH is very impressed:rotfl::rotfl:

as for the offers keep your eyes open for the huggies newborn starter boxes when they are on offer/ reduced to £3 each buy a couple. make sure they say on the outside that they include £5 off in vouchers inside. When you open the box you will get a packet of newborn nappies, huggies pure wipes a hat and vouchers. £2 off huggies newborns which you can us to buy another box for £1! also £1 off huggies wipes which if you wait they will be on offer for £1 each somewhere.

You can go round in circles getting boxes for a £1 and a voucher. i was lucky enough to get some other vouchers for £1 off huggies so got 90% of my boxes for free.
