  • Thanks hun i hop so too. there is no protien present so were not looking at pre eclampsia or anything at the moment. i usually deliver soon anyway any time between 24 and 32 weeks so as long as it stays at a reasonable level for 4 weeks it will be ok.

i may go and fridge raid in a few mins i had tea recently but now think i need toast lol

I'd seen it in your signature about your other 3 DD's. Were you surprised today then?

Just back from my midwife - the pain im getting in the pubic bone area is apparantly good as that means baby has moved down slightly and the whole of its body is basically curled up on the right side - hence the pain on the right of the pelvis. Means it is getting ready. Have an appointment for 2 weeks time (39+5) and she said If I havent had the baby by then they would do an internal  Seems a bit early to me - I guess if I dont want it I just say no thanks?

So if I'm suddenly getting lots more pain in my hip and pelvis, that's a good sign? :D I thought it just meant I was finally falling to bits. My bump has dropped, but then it has done that before then gone up again!

Well that's what she said, I'm all baby on the right side and empty on the left so that's why the pain is hurting on my right leg/pelvis. If she says its good then I will believe her !

I've started to get pain/discomfort in the pubic bone region. When I was at the midwife on Friday and she felt my bump she said baby was 2/5 engaged, so I figure that's probably why...

Mine's the left hip, but I assumed that was because I lie on it. Plus both knees, my lower back, and my pelvis at the front. Though yesterday was my last day working, and I decided to finish an inventory of my stuff, as when I go back to it I won't have a clue what I've got! Which is probably a big part of it.

I realllllllly want a nice hot drink, but I can't think what won't give me heartburn? Ovaltine, choc Horlicks, hot squash and soup are all out. And tea is dull.

I don't understand what you mean by funding? Do you mean wages? Or SMP? Or something else?

There was a really good leaflet I got and perhaps they still give them out? I think I might have got it in my bounty pack and it had 2 sides, one for you and one for the employer.

Hello, I should have explained that better. I work for a charity and my project has funding until the end of March, one funder wants to pull out and so I am likely to go down to part time hours three weeks before my due date. Will have a look through my Bountypack for the leaflet thanks. Might try CAB too.

I have a lopsided bump! Am lying in bed, propped up on some pillows and Pip is squirming around... Have just lifted the duvet to have a look and my bump is properly bulging out to the right, but dead flat on the left! It looks so odd! :D although as I write this Pip has moved and now it looks more normal... I'm really going to miss this bit of being pregnant! It's such a bizarre feeling...

Thanks everyone about the crib, I really really love it and I'm so glad I didn't opt for the moses basket, after all my to-ing and fro-ing between them! :o Was even better as OH's grandfather gave us Tesco vouchers for Christmas, so we spent those and it didn't cost us much at all!

Congrats on team pink lovecrafting at least you'l be able to re-use a lot of things!

We're just back from town, went to see the new Sherlock Holmes, absolutely loved it! Cinema was sooo warm, don't know what is wrong with places today, it's really mellowed here, and I don't think they've realised, I felt ill at some points.

May have ordered a Dominos for tea, it's far too late to be cooking, and almost everywhere in town was queued, only Chiquitos looked remotely quiet and OH isn't keen, I'm happy enough to be home though. Got MIL a scarf for Christmas, she is a nightmare to buy for, so much so last year OH got her a goat from Oxfam for an African family! She hates receiving gifts.

    Hope everyone is well xx
