Thx ladies. Have made myself go check, and (TMI) the pad is kinda damp, but not wet. So i'm no clearer really! Doesnt smell of wee, so dont think i've dribbled that at least.
Will chill a little with my book and see if i get more trickle feelings, and if i do, will call the ward.

Not sure if anyone will be able to help me, but since last night I've had strange pulling/strained sensations around my stomach, mostly at the sides, it's almost like a stitch but sorer. It does feel like "stretching" I guess, but it takes me breath away at times, I mentioned it to the doctor today and she basically ignored me, so no idea and don't really want to google.

Maybe it is then, they've been pretty constant since yesterday, I actually got out of the chair in a weird way and thought maybe I'd pulled something. I always thought Braxton Hicks were like period-y type pains, but obviously not :o

Dont know if it is the same Gilly but I do get pains like this round the sides of my bump - more specifically the left side....and I find I get this when I need to do a No 2.....even if I dont feel like I need to go at some point that day I will end up going and the pain has gone. Kind of feels like a stitch but worse thats the only way I can describe it. Also for a while I found I was only doing a no 2 every other day or so...seems like now im going at least once a day so the pain is there a bit more often.

  • Oh and I have had braxton hicks and it was nothing like that hehe - the braxton hicks I felt made my whole tummy go hard for a minute, wasnt painful really but did feel like stretching.....this other feeling like stitch was actually painful where I felt I couldnt move properly. Keep an eye on it and when you do your next No 2 and it goes you should know :)

Not sure if that's what would cause it, I'm pretty regular and had no problems with constipation or anything. I will try and monitor it to see if that helps or not, thanks :o

It didn't go last night after going to the toilet, was there on and off all night. From looking online majority of websites are saying ligament pain/stretching etc, which it probably is. So annoying though as I can't get comfy, was all night while walking around town too! Boo :(

although in saying that, tummy was pretty solid last night, so who knows?!?

BH come in different ways like real contrax. Some people feel them like period pains, some people more like tightening and pulling across the tummy. They can be little things you might miss or whoppers you think are the real deal.
It could just be stretching, but it was your description of the "pulling" sensation that made me think BH.
