ginvzt - there's two a year in my town too but you might have a look at nearby bigish towns (depending on where you are) as they will probably have them at different times. I'm pretty sure the main website links to local branches where you can find info.

When we went in October (I think) I got mostly 0-3 month stuff but there were tons of clothes and toys for children of all ages so it's probably worth going whenever as you can stock up on the next sizes.

I keep having people tell me not to get stuff for the baby as we will get given loads - we already have been! Got so many hand-me-down clothes from friends and all sorts of kit that we didn't have to buy a huge amount, although I did buy her some new clothes. I've also been told by several people that they have got the baby Christmas presents even though she's not due until the New Year!

    All caught up again :D

Ro - Can't believe Dylan ate your phone! Hope you can sort out a replcement (phone, not dog), lol

Aimless - I love toffifee. My Gran who passed away many years ago always bought me these at xmas so hubby has taken over the tradition. I blubbed like a baby the first year he bought them as it caught me off guard. Christmas wouldn't be the same without them and reminds me of the my lovely Gran who never got to meet my wonderful husband....... (no blubbling twigpig!) lol

Gilly - Glad some of your M&P's stuff arrived in the end. Hope the rest gets there and that they send you that gift voucher as promised. Do pester them if it doesn't come through..... :)

Rebekah - I often pick up M&S sandwiches over lunch and always read the packet. They do specify pastuerised egg yolk/mayo on the packagaing at M&S, and I don't remember having to put a single choice back as it wasn't ok to eat.

Can't recall who asked about driving reflexes etc. I do think my driving in the last couple of weeks is a little bit hindered. I'm not sure if it's about reflexes for me, but turning around to check behind me when reversing etc is a lot harder to do. My spacial awareness in general is a bit out sometimes, so I guess that could play a part, not to mention that I reversed my car into a wall when I was about 10 weeks pregnant = baby brain! Thankfully not too much damage and hubby got it fixed a day or so later for me..... :rotfl:

Will have a look. Tried going through some other nearby branches and didn't see any sales listed, but will keep an eye on them. I am sure people will make presents, but I will still be getting some bits myself. Especially with two of them!

I will need to get the nursery set up, and I don't think we will be given this by anyone. I suggested OH we make a trip to Italy this February to visit his family and friends, and also look at the baby stuff, as when I looked online, the same Mamas&Papas pushchair was quite a lot cheaper there. (Duette - £749 here, just over 430 euros in Italy, so big saving, even with sending it over here!)

I was just looking at my notes now and what I didn't notice before is that I have 2 anterior placentas, and mentions lamba sign, which means that placentas are close together. Things you learn.... I guess those things I have been feeling last night and thought they were flutters where just gas now, as with anterior placenta I am less likely to feel anything so early on (14w+4).

Gilly- your RM parcels could arrive tday, or in a weeks time.... Post to NI is a couple of days slower, but after the 15th becomes real snail pace. :( Hope you get it!

I've barely left the house in the last couple of days. My head is killing me, and everything from my eyes to my chest feels as if it's been paint stripped! Trust my luck to get a real bad headcold just now. Frantically trying to get rid of it before Sunday.

I'm drinking honey and lemon, and using oils to try and shift it, but no joy so far!

Either the pregnancy or the cold (or both) is leaving me very, very lightheaded. Feel it even when I'm sitting down, so being careful doing anything..... :)

Finally had a sign that something is happening- had a show this morning. Very surprised by the amount (sorry if TMI). Now 41+1, feels a bit surreal to be over so much already!

Thanks. MY Dad got onto them this morning and they are sending him a cheque for his postage :rotfl: he's a very angry man. They're babbling on about flooding to him but the boat comes in at belfast and we live about 10 minutes.away from the port and even closer to the main RM sorting office so its just RM b/s. I posted mine tuesday and it arrived yesterday. Absolute idiots this time of year.
