First snow here this morning! So glad I am not travelling to work and can stay at home. Ok, I still have to work, but I am warm and cost. OH left this morning with instructions to let me know he arrives ok. He is out for lunch with some colleagues and then also out for dinner with some more!
My headache gave me a break yesterday for a while and came back in the evening. It is still here. I am fed up! Tired and fed up, can't wait for holiday.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Just dropping in - Congratulations to all new mummies.
Well 10 days to go until DD - Went to midwife on Monday and her head's down - Bump seems to have dropped this morning. Surely she cant go much further down without physically coming out! DD1 was 5 days early so fingers crossed.
Sleeping - ALOT - just recently. Being sick nearly every morning (the yellow acid sick) and nothing is stopping it.
Weight wise - Well I started off at 11 stone 9lb and am now 13 stone 7lb's so I think I've done really well not eating for two lol Although staying away from crappy food might be difficult over christmas - but then if madam shuffles her bum out then i not have time to!!!
Have my iron tablets now - 7 months after there was a "mix up" with my bloods (Cheers for that!)
Christmas shopping almost done - thought i had everyone's, Turned out I've forgot my mum (oops!) shes a pain to buy for. Going to look at handbag's for her but she will have to pick it as shes a manny so and so with bags!
DD had her school nativity - she was Mary - I swear i nearly cried (Would have blamed hormones obviously!)
Anyway i think thats enough of a catch up. Hope your all having a good morning, have a brilliant day, stay inside if its snowing (No snow here!) and if you really must go out be careful

A while ago some one asked about antenatal DVDs for preparing for labour. I have just saw this on my baby centre app:

I haven't look at them, but thought might be useful for someone.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Morning all .
Still to read back on yesterdays posts....
Here's my monster update for the week, lol
I can now say that I'm officially finished baby shopping. Well, I have all the essentials now so anything else is just a bonus, as I can't promise that I won't buy anything else :rotfl:
My mothercare babyplan items was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I got home on Wednesday to find it had been left with our neighbour! No harm done I suppose, although our car seat was missing, so they've re-issued that to arrive early next week. We put the pushcahir together yesterday and have started washing all the baby's things now, so we're feeling more prepared.
Had MW appt yesterday and blood pressure went up again (after coming down a bit last week), so I have another home visit on Monday morning to check on it. Still no headaches, vision problem or proteins in the urine, so they're just keeping an eye on me
My hands are getting much worse now (carpal tunnel). I'm getting pins and needles most of the day and through the night, and one of my fingers and one of my thumbs keeps getting stuck closed, so in the mornings I have to pry them open :rotfl:, so off to GP today to see if I can get a splint as apparantly that can help, and I don't want to cause any permanent damage with still 6 weeks to go until our EDD....... I hate that I can't feel my fingertips, and I've had to stop wearing my wedding/engagement ring now as my hands swell up here and there and I don't want to have them cut off! Really hate looking down to see my rings are missing. Boo!
Hope everyone is well, and sorted for xmas. I've promised myself that I WILL make an effort and get the tree up this weekend even if I feel knackered. Shopping is all finished now too, so I'm looking forward to xmas nowRoll on the shortbread and cheese & biscuits!

When did you start your antenatal classes? I have sent my form back on Monday, asking for the Twins & More class, which should include labour and caring for the newborn, Fit 4 Pregnancy and the breastfeeding one. I know I still have 5+ months if I am lucky, so no rush there, but just would like to know.
I started 4 weeks ago so I would have been almost 29 weeks. The furthest along was 37 weeks, she was due last Sunday and didn't arrive at the class this week so maybe she'd had hers! The person at the classes who was expecting twins was around 22 weeks I think.
It was quite a mix as this was their last ever class, so they were just taking anyone who was interested. I feel really lucky that we got on it in time, as there won't be any more free antenatal classes in our area again
I'm going on a Christmas basket making course on Sunday with DH, very excited! It seemed like a good way to spend my 'apologies' money that I got from my bank recently, for them being generally rubbish. Hopefully I can make something decent, as I'm going to put some food in it and give it to my Dad for his prezzie
Apart from food shopping and getting one person to give me their address, i think Christmas is just about sorted0 -
Morning. Had a rubbish night with acid reflux and a headache and feeling sick. Started to wonder if it was the start of something and panicking that I was not ready as there is still a ton of washing to do. I thought I was doing okay with the baby stuff and then DH told me about the pile of his dirty work clothes he had been stashing on his side of the bed so now they have to take priority
Got to finish packing hospital bags today, that's my main job. Did too much out and about yesterday and ended up wandering around tesco in a daze yawning my head off, and moving at the speed of a snail. Pretty certain I did not get what we needed. I had no idea, even after the early stages, how tiring being pregnant is now I'm lugging around a nearly full-grown baby!
Quickly read back yesterday and someone mentioned about waterbirths and delivering the placenta. I don't know if it is a local policy but we were told that you would have to get out for that part of the delivery, purely because in water they can't tell how much bleeding is going on and whether there there is a problem. Can't help thinking that it won't be the easiest time to get your leg over the side of the pool :rotfl:
Oh, and I need to do a birthplan as well. Got ideas but not written down as yet. The midwife said she'd discuss it with me at my 38 week check next week.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

How often are NCT nearly new sales held in your area? I just checked local branch, and it says November and May!!!!! Well, November was way too early to buy anything (less than 12 weeks pregnant) and May seems to be a bit too late, as I will be 35+ weks, and if I don't have nursery and bits organised by then, I will be going mad and besides, the twins might be arriving by then!
I am sure OH came back from the gym the other week saying there is nearly new sale in January, but I can't find any info about that!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
