Morning ladies.
Weird question.....has anyone else got more hair than normal on their tummy? I have got quite a bit! luckily its quite soft and downy and VERY pale but its a bit odd! DH keeps calling me a hairy bear lol!! Anyway, have googled and apparently its a 'normal' pregnancy symptom for some people but just wondered if anyone else has it?!
I have a few more hairs on my tummy, also fine and pale, but i've sprouted some fetching thicker, darker ones under my chin !
Not amused! I've had to do a weekly pluck for about 2 months now, as they were really visible in contrast to my usual fine blonde hairs. I'm told its normal and will stop post baby. I blooming hope so, or i'll be the bearded lady!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

B*gger. Woke up early for an 8.30 conference call with work. Had to drag myself out of bed as was v tired and the wind and naughty cats kept me awake during the night.
Just signed in, and been waiting for the call. Looked in my diary when nothing happened, and the meeting is on Thursday not today!!
My own silly fault. Hey Ho.
On another note, had some quite strong crampy feelings off an on over night, and (TMI TMI!!) my pad was quite wet this morning. Wetter than usual. Sniffed it and doesnt smell of anything, so not pee, dont know if its a small water leak, or what. Will mention it, along with the small show at the weekend, when i see the m/w this afternoon.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Morning everyone!
So... this is what maternity leave is like...
Packed OH off to work this morning after making his lunch and am now back in bed with a sleepy kitty curled up at my feet... Not really sure what to do with myself today but am guessing it won't be much!
I think I'm going to start knitting the baby blanket I've been meaning to do for the last few weeks! Plenty of time for that now!
Oh and I also realised last night that I was right in expecting something to happen at 34 weeks after seeing the number 34 *everywhere* over the past few months! I'm happier that it's just starting my mat leave early rather than Pip wanting to arrive early!
Hope you all have a good day, and we hear some baby news from BM and Seafarers soon! And any of the other boldies of course!

Has anyone else found buying baby stuff to be quite addictive? I bought about 15 things from amazon yesterday, including a baby carrying set. DH thinks he will want to carry baby everywhere instead of pushing the pram. I've told him to think thought a visit to Starbucks or Tescos, but apparently I'm being a grouch.
I'm working down my to buy list and I've got to mattress's and I've no idea which to choose. I've got a M&P cot bed that I originally bought for my sisters baby, the old mattress was thrown away years ago, and I have a vague feeling I bought two at the time, one for infants and one for toddlers. Any got any thoughts on what type is best?
My perfect sister in law had her baby boy on the 7th, in an hour, weight 7lb 13, my DH has been to visit them and I'm sure he thinks that how it 'should' be now. I'm trying to remind him not all labours are like that, but I'm being 'disparaging', he is starting to really get on my nerves now!
I've got my 32/40 scan today, then my anaesthetic review and then my consultant appointment, it's going to be a long day of hobbling around on crutches for me at the hospital, I had my first proper hormonal crying wobble at DH and best friend last night cause they cannot take me. I always seem to be the only one at the appointments by myself.
I know I'm grumpy, sorry about the moaning and thanks for listening!:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

........ hope you enjoy a (long!! no queue jumping yet please
) maternity leave, its a bit more real knowing you have finished  Yesterday went to B&M to buy some plastic food ie boil in bag rice, weird potato rosti things, tins and the like just in case we never leave the house again when bubs arrives and it up to hubby to cook  we dont have a microwave........ even bought spam  have never eaten it before but hey if we get desperate :rotfl: 0 -
Sweep day today, hoping it'll get something moving, everyone has pencilled in tomorrow as THE DAY as it works for us all!
Ex rang earlier to ask if I could look after his DD today as her nan is ill, agreed after the midwife had been. Thankfully though he doesn't need me now as his gf managed to get special leave from work. Would've been OK and good practice for looking after a girl (have had her before and she's easy enough) but must say I'm pleased to have the day back to myself!Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -

Don't worry hun, I have no intention of queue-jumping, I am happy to wait my turn! I'll cross my legs if I have to! Pip is under strict instructions to not even think of coming out before Christmas!
I'm going to start some batch cooking soon, get the freezer stocked up, and check the lists to see what else I think I need to get. I also have a couple more Christmas presents to buy, which I will sort today.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Well. I think I'm going to hibernate today. I feel shocking, so going to get back in bed and catch up on sleep I think.

Just been looking at the new Quinny Yezz Pushchair. Not the sturdiest looking thing I've seen, but I can imagine it'd be useful for travelling. Looks odd though.
Got eBay stuff to list later. Think that will pay for our cot mattress if everything sells. Ended up with soooo many bottles its unreal. Think we have 8 Nuby, 12 Tommee Tippee, 2 Dr Browns and a Mam Starter Kit  think I'll keep Nuby and Dr Browns and get rid of the rest.
That's what happens when you buy stuff and other people do too. Baby buying is definitely addictive :rotfl:
Fingers crossed for some boldie news soon! Xxx0 -
Oooh good one *Redhead*, thanks for reminding me. I've got loads of stuff I want to put on eBay...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0
