By the way, been thinking about music while in labour, not something I had last time, but thought it might help to pass the time. Would I want a player that has headphones do you think, or one with a speaker. I thought headphones might be impractical and antisocial, are you allowed one with a speaker?
Congratulations Chucknorris!
Our hospitals delivery suites have a basic cD player in each one, and positively encourage you to bring something to put on it to relax you and make you feel more at home. Maybe check with them what they provide?Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I'll ask the midwife next week, if she stops nagging me about iron long enough to answer any questions.
According to the schedule in my notes, we were meant to talk birth plans last appointment, but didn't.
I thought about taking an mp3 player, but am having trouble finding a cheap one with a speaker that doesn't have dire reviews. Baby's favourites seem to be Rammstein, Metallica or Evanescence, or Daddy's music, think they'll be relaxing?0 -

My fault for playing Kerrang several hours a day.
Only lyric I can think of for some reason is "Push it, push it real good.."0 -
Thanks ladies, thought I had better just check, it was prescribed because I was anaemic so I never questioned the safety0

I just hadd my first baby and while browsing the net found this rather nice guide from Which? and NCT, how to choose things for your baby, etc. Thought I'd share it with you

If anyone is a Morrisons shopper, they have some really cute baby clothes reduced at minute.
I saw:
2 pack long sleeved bodysuits - £1.98
Sleepsuit and Bib - £1.98
Sleeping bag - £4
Muslins - £3
And some other bits.
They had unisex (cream with bears or giraffes on) or pink and blue backgrounds with bears on.
Really nice for the money
Gilly - that sucks about the pram, I'd be well peed off. Hopefully they'll sort it for you soon.
Chuck. Congratulations
Hope everyone else is well, and BM and Seafarers are having baby cuddles. Xxx0
