Thanks everyone and thanks to Gillyx for putting me on the list:)
I'm having a good pregnancy so far, no morning sickness or usual symptoms just really bad heartburn:eek:

I'm 37 does that make me one of the eldest on here?

According to the scan we are team blue but so far haven't agreed on a name. Every time we are asked people reply with 'you don't want to call him that' or 'I used to know someone called that and they were horrible' so I think we'll name him once he's here.

    MH1 xx

We've been telling people all sorts of silly names just to wind them up! We're keeping our serious name ideas to ourselves untill the big day :)

I don't think they stock the prams in store though :( so even if we agreed to collect it etc, I don't think it would be possible.

Nowhere else I'd be able to get this pram either sadly. :(

You could try ebay for the seat pad? x

Thanks for the suggestion of Ebay ladies, but they didn't seem to have any at all. It's all sorted now anyway. :)

    Reading my hospitals website..

"You will only require essentials as most women will go home as soon after delivery as their condition allows and most women will not stay overnight.."

They did say this at the ante natal, but that seems scary

Very interesting. When we went to look around our hospital, they advised that would advise mums to stay one night just to help recover and ensure all ok. Dads can stay that first night too, so not too bad. I guess with everything, they 'recommend' it, but you could always say no if you are baby are all fine and you want to go home, especially if you gave birth overnight the day before.....

So pleased that M&P's have sorted out your delivery, phew! :)

Yeah, we tell people we're struggling with boys names more than girls (which is true, and we're team yellow), but that Randy, Elvis and Badger are still on our shortlist ;)

In a way I'd maybe prefer to be home, but it's also scary that you're let loose so fast.

Our hospital is SOOOO pro-b/f, they say you can stay on the post natal ward until you are comfortable with the breast feeding....

My local hospital seem more pro breastfeeding now then when i had my son 3 years ago-i went home after staying one night thinking i was ready to go. In some ways i was-but i had major problems with bfeeding so this time will stay longer if i need help (and also need to recover more before i go home to my 3 year old!)
