Congrats WW, so please that it looks like good news on the downs front, fingers crossed that the results came back clear. i'm surprised it takes 2 weeks when they can tell you in 24hrs with CVS, must be a different way of doing it I guess.

BM,I'll say good luck but hopefully I'm too late and you're already having mummy cuddles.

Seafarer's, good luck for today, hope it all goes to plan and you're also having mummy cuddles soon.

MIL ordered our pram yesterday and I ordered the matching changing bag. Was probably a little indulgent as its quite expensive but I like it and it matches so I had to lol!

Kira- did anything come from your spotting??

Hope BM is okay and enjoying cuddles with her baby

    Hi JJ.

Still here, and nothing drastic happening. Was still very painful last night hobbling around with back pain, and the odd twinge pain in my back and tummy. PIL and SIL/BIL found it immensely amusing the ridiculous speed of my movement. Seriously took 10 mins to get from their kitchen to the living room, with my micro steps!
Gonna chill today, down more RLT, listen to my hypno cd's and work on what to say to the m/w at my 38w appointment tomorrow.

Hope your foot is better today.

    Hi floatylight!

Just watching tv and tidying up a little. Annoying as I can't really do anything major. DH and I both appear to have a bad cold- headaches, sore throats and coughing, generally miserable. Feel for him- while I get to lie in bed, he's sorting out paperwork in a draughty office.... He's off tomorrow, so think we will just huddle with hot water bottles and keep warm..... Not ideal for either of us to feel sick at the moment!

    Hi everyone.

Has anyone had one of the 4D scans? My Mum has said she will get us one if we want one but I am worried that we will see babies bits and we dont want to know the sex yet.

Yep, we had a 4d package. You can see one pic as my avatar. Thought it was great! The best results are when you have the scan much later on- we finally got bean to cooperate and show her face at 33weeks! (having tried since 28w!), and that late on, its hard to see the bits cos they are so much bigger, and curled up into the small spaces. Plus if you remind them you dont want to know, they can try and stick to the face end!

Check around for prices, as they vary ALOT, and also ask on their policies if the baby doesnt cooperate. Our place gave 3 chances included in the price, other places don't.

If you tell them in advance Laura they block it out for you so you can't see :) well they did for a woman I know, even on the DVD, they put a little blob over it :rotfl:

OH has just had a voice mail from Mamas & Papas, to tell us our pram which is supposed to be delivered this week, the seat pad for the lining of the seat, is completely out stock and they're not getting any more in, because they've changed the way the pram is. We can have a refund (what can we do without one?) or order another item, one that doesn't match the pram?!? £700 for a pram and this is what happens. He has been in a queue now for about 25 minutes, to get through to speak to someone.

My blood pressure is probably through the roof at the moment, I am ready to explode.

I was wondering if I could join in? I am due to have my first baby in February, the midwife said 18th, the scan said 16th, confused!

I love reading about your experiences, tips and chat on all things pregnancy.

    Best wishes to you all:)
