Aspirin - mine is the dispersible type, but I cannot drink it like that, so I take the table and drink loads of water. I do usually drink about a pint, but every time it was dispersed I vomited, but it seems to be doing the job so I'm not too worried.

I went to see the delivery ward yesterday and it relaxed me a little, as it looked clean and organised, dispite it having one of the worst reputations in the country. So fingers crossed it will be ok when I go.

Oh you're going to Stafford Hospital? (just noticed on your location on the left). I think there is something bad being said about most hospitals at the moment-i had no problems at the one i went to last time, but now i'm reading that they have had complaints. I won't let it put me off.

Right-well i had more pains last night that woke me up, i had a paranoid moment when i could have sworn i felt 'wet' down there but it was just a bit of watery discharge and not my plug...so back i went to bed and tried to get back to sleep. This morning, i got my son ready for pre-school then went back to sleep on the settee for a couple of hours once he had gone :o

I really want to go to the German markets this afternoon with my husband and son, but feel a bit nervous about going in case i don't feel well or something happens. Someone tell me to stop being silly! I look forward to it each year.

I can't believe i'm getting to the top of the list now!

100 days... It looks so far for me!

Just wanted to share something - on Wednesday I placed an order with Ocado as wanted to get Heston's mince pies and Christmas puddings for gifts, and did my weekly shop s well. So, I bought courgettes. However, I didn't read properly and thought it was £1.59 per kg of courgettes, and it asked for quantity, so I ordered 5 courgettes. The order arrived last night with 5 packs of courgettes!!!!!!! So we no have 20+ courgettes to eat :o So, OH is preparing stuffed courgettes tonight, then next week we will make a tart with puff pastry and courgettes, which will go well for lunch, and then will need to think of many more uses!

Well, at least I got my mince pies and Christmas puddings - I have two bags laying around in the kitchen now... How am I going to fit it all in the suitcase????

:rotfl:Ooops, Sounds like the kind of thing i might do! Have you thought of trying a courgette cake? Works on the same concept as carrot cake. You can usually make and freeze them. Might be worth a shot. Heres 2, a chocolate one i like, and a lemon one,

Will have a look. Will see how many courgettes we will use up tonight and then I really want the tart. I was thinking of making ragu next week anyway, so a few would go in there.... They won't go bad, and OH will be happy with me eating more veg!

  • So back from the mw, was a different one to usual and she wasn't keen on doing a S&S as only 40w today. Fair enough I guess but was hoping for something to kick start things. Clinic is full next week, so she's planning a home visit on Tues to do it then, if things haven't started themselves off of course.

Off for a nap to try and catch up a bit before school chucking out time, then more bouncing on ball I think. Have got curry for tea, and a few little waddles planned over the next few days so hopefully won't be long.
