    Morning ladies :D

Well today is the day I finally start the Christmas shopping, yes I'm braving town. Currently fueling up at the moment, 2 weetabix, 2 slices of brown seeded toast, mug of tea and I've got cereal bars for my bag. I'm actually excited, how long that'l last I do not know, I'm assuming 5 minutes after I arrive :o

Having to take OH with me but will have to send him off to have a wander while I pick up some things for him. Taking a little reusable bag with me though so I can put his pressies inside that aswell as their carriers, hopefully that'l put him off the scent.

Annabella Please rest like you were told to, or I'll be forced to get angry with you :p although in saying that I'm due a week after you and really need to get my bum in gear with this hospital bag. I will do it next week at some point, maybe...

YummyMummy No signs then that she wants to arrive soon? :(

Ro You need to get a wee picture of Dylan after his hair snip, He'l be looking cute no doubt. Saw a dog in the news the other day and I want one. People keep telling me we're mad, but the minute we're out the flat, we're considering getting one, I think growing up with pets is good for kids. Wait til you see this dog it's so damn cute...

    Well, good luck boldies!!!!

I am working from home again, and hoping to get out during lunch to Sainsbury's - saw a coat I liked and I think could work for the next few months, but they didn't have my size when I went in few days ago. So, I am going to check the same shop again and have got the address of another shop not too far, so that I can go an see if they have it there. It was £40, so not too bad. I was in M&P on Wednesday, and their coats for £80 looked ok on the hanger, I even liked how it looked on my, but the sleeves where short!!!! And I don't have long arms nor am I tall. I didn't like Dorothy Perkins ones that I saw either.

I got an old short coat/jacket, which was too big for me for a long time, but could rally do with something longer and a bit warmer. The Sainsbury's one was long, so would cover the bump, and any longer clothing I got. Now I look ridiculous if I wear any of the maternity tops I got (ok, my bump is barely visible, but they are so comfy!) - as the coat/jacket only comes down to mid-hip height, so all is half way peeking out. Not a pretty look!

On the complaining side: my hip hurts!!!! Woke up early again as it was painful to lay on the left side, and then it was painful to lay on any side. It is painful to sit on my chair now. If someone tells me once more it is a sciatica, I will have to tell them to go and re-take they medical exams!

  • Good luck to all the boldies!

I went on a 3 hour flight during 1st trimester, no problems, I was 8-9 weeks at the time, but I also didn't have any sickness, which probably made it easier!

I gave DH a bit of a scare - he came rushing into the bathroom this morning when he heard me scream. I think he was imagining all sorts of dire problems ;) What had happened was that he'd had a bath, moved the shower screen, and somehow the shower head had hooked onto the screen and fell into the bath when I put the screen back. I decided to leave it there - upside down of course - as when the screen's in place I can't reach the shower head holder without climbing into the bath first. So.... turned the shower on, the water pressure flipped the shower head over and soaked me (and the bathroom) in a high pressure spray of freezing cold water... then I had to reach through it all to turn it off again. :) Not really how I wanted to be woken up!!!

    32 weeks today :)

Congratulations on the 32 weeks Bluebell! The shower sounds amusing, although not much fun for the person involved!

As for the flights - I flew two days after embryo transfer and then back a week later. It was flying to Marseille with stop in Amsterdam (was cheaper!). I have developed OHSS by the end of our break, but other than that was was fine. And the result was BFP 3 days after our return flight - twins!

We are flying tomorrow to Germany, and it will be tiring (flight is at 6:55), back on Sunday afternoon. The next flight is planned in 2 weeks back home, nearly 3 hour flight with the beloved Ryanair... (for once it was cheaper and it is a direct flight, unlike any others).

    Morning all.

Still here. Baby showing no signs at all of moving! Checked my notes, and I'm marked on a Bishop Score, which according to Google assesses likelihood of natural birth/ response to induction. The lower the number, the more likely caeserean is..... My score is 0! That's probably a lot to do with the MW not being able to find my cervix on Wednesday, lol.

No signs, no pains, not a thing. Just tied to the house, and it seems a little surreal I'm now overdue- when I joined here I was no 67 on the list initially!

I'm boiling to death. I'm in a t-shirt, the heating's off, and I'm eating ice-lollies and watching the snow.... :)
  • ooohhh lots of boldies :) hope it all happens soon for you ladies.

Im feeling rubbish today, no idea why but feel icky and dodgy tummy so not sure if its something i ate or things kicking off. havent really felt baby move much yesterday and today its only small movements. had monitering on tuesday and baby was fine and wednesday was a wriggle monster so not sure whats going on, am getting movements today, just very small infrequent ones. might just be me being more aware after the monitering and the wriggling as its moving which is the main thing.

planning a walk to the post office and back later  a 10 min walk each way for a non pregnant person so a half hour walk each way for me then :rotfl: want to get some christmas cards posted as well as my driving licence and also do the car tax.

im kinda hoping that the walk later sets things off as im ready to not be pregnant anymore as i NEED CAKE AND SWEET THINGS. DH is being good but i want croissants, i want pancakes and syrup, i want profiteroles, i want chocolate truffles, cookies etc. I want full fat coke  but he isnt playing ball with getting me any of them.

suppose id best go see what housework awaits me on the flylady thread as im feeling an urge! to get things more tidy!

I'm resting! Am currently feet up on the sofa with a big bowl of fruit salad, my Spatone-infused orange juice and a decaf coffee, watching Sarah Beeny restore her big country pile... I have no plans to do anything strenuous today, only stick some washing on and sit and sort through some baby bits. I think doing nothing but sit on the sofa between now and 4pm will actually drive me crazy but I'm not going to overdo it, I promise! Hope you enjoy your shopping trip!

I can't believe how many boldies there are! All these babies are going to come at once... Although I'm guessing some of the earlier ones *may* now be here...
