When was she actually due - I can't see her on the previous due date list? Just wondered!
Is it wrong I'm thinking of getting a pizza delivered tonight? Feeling sorry for myself stuck on my own again. Sod all on TV so updating my iTunesI know how to live, me! I've only got about three packs of newborn disposable nappies - after that I have bumgenius reuseables if I can work out what goes where!

Pigpen wasn't on the EDD list. I think she thought she was due 15th - 25th October according to various scans, so has potentially popped 4 to 6 weeks early...
And I'd totally get pizza:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

I thought she was behind me but I suppose she's had so many she's bound to be early.
Thanks - I think I will

i need some advice ladies, if you can.
i've still not popped, in fact i've gone off the boil. contractions never got past the occasional every 5 mins, mainly stayed at every 6 to 7 mins. the problem was i kept being sick, so i was keeping nothing down. had to go in for monitoring this morning as the baby was going a bit quiet after contractions - all fine there, baby was very happy - but i have ketones in my urine. didn't know how much of a problem this was until a midwife came out to see me earlier - have a planned home birth -, i have ++++ketones and this is what is stopping me progressing. i've got someone coming out to see me later to check again, if it's still that high i may have to go in and be put on a drip.
i haven't been sick since 10 am and i've managed to eat and drink, so hopefully the ketones have gone down a bit. but....... i'm starting to feel sick again. i've asked about anti sickness tablets or injection but the midwives can't do that. is there any thing anyone can recommend to help with the sickness?????
i've got some seabands on, so i'm hoping they'll help.
sorry to go on, just need a bit of help!0 -

I cant really offer advice but i can explain why the ketones are concerning them. my daughter has something called glycogen storage disease mixed with ketonic hypoglycaemia. this means when her blood sugar goes low her body produces keytones and they find it in her urine, on there own and in small ammounts ketones will not harm you or the baby but if they are ++++ it could be a sign of something a little bit more sinister happening, however please dont worry it is most likley to be a result of the vomiting, i know when i am sick i have both ketones and blood in my urine. I really cant help you with the being sick buti just thought a small explination might be helpfull for you, if the keytones are still present and they offer to put you on a drip then to be honest hun its a good thing because it will do two things, it will flush them out of your system and it will help to supress the sickness. good luck with everything i hope it goes well (and fast) for you0 -
Does anyone have or know anything about those pieces of board to go across the top of the cot for nappy changing? i have back problems already and thing getting down on the floor to change nappies will be a nightmare for a while after i have the baby.
