    maybe not it says pad so i dont think it is the wooden bit

  • I had the same concerns as you Jen about kneeling down on the floor to change nappies. We bought a changing unit from Ikea which will live downstairs. If you have a dining table, you could just put a padded changing mat on there? My sister used to do that, mine is always covered in rubbish, hence the changing table (which is now piled with rubbish :o

    For upstairs we have a dressing table in the nursery which I am just going to buy a padded changing mat to put on top, either that or put it on our bed to do it.

    I was supposed to go out tonight for leaving do for a work colleague, but I've spent most of the afternoon sleeping and now feel carp, plus the thought of watching everyone else get drunk holds no appeal :(

    i am not worried about downstairs i can use the table or sofa maybe upstairs i have nothing the right height and not much space ;-( so i think a cot top changer might be the answer. got til december so going to keep looking for a local one on ebay for now

  • hi all, baby girl *Twinkle* was born on September 15th at 3.24pm weighing 8lb 2 an half oz, all went smoothly,i'm totally in awe of her.
    i'll post birth story when i catch up on the thread, can someone post a list so i can see who's had babies please, thanks :)

  • yes i like the top cot top changer we got ours as a factory second for £10 so a bargain, but i dont think i would of paid full price for one to be honest


    ooohh congrats twinkle and pigpen. getting jealous now, have loads of mummy cuddles for me
