It could be SPD, definitely sounds like you're a candidate for it. Mention it to your midwife when you see her next, they probably won't do much about it but it's better to know than nottake it easy though, it's very easy to agrivate SPD and it hurts like merry hell for days until the inflamation goes down. Mine has got progressively worse the further along I get so worth being prepared for that too. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

My SPD has got quite a bit better recently because I've been taking the midwife's advice & keeping my knees together - getting in & out of the car, in & out of the bath (sitting on the side & swinging legs over together), in & out of bed, etc. I know it'll come back once the baby's head drops but for now it's bearable. The one way they diagnose it is to ask you when the pain's worse - that answer will always be turning over in bed!

ROFL- wow. I read the Wiki link on SPD, and all of a sudden imagined various aches and pains getting worse!
I'm glad mine is mild, feel so sorry for the ones on here suffering badly from it. SPD worse turning in bed- oh yes.... that's just horrible to do right now. Went shopping with DH today, and he continued shopping while I met a friend for coffee (yum yum!!). He bought my Christmas presemts- or some- in Boots, and made me hide in DSD's bedroom until he wrapped and hid them.
Was more than happy to- my back, ribs, ankles and pelvic area are all killing me..... Think the 15 mile walks are definitely out, doubt I could manage a couple of miles at the moment!
Thought I had a bad case of baby brain, couldn't find the old thread.....0 -

anyone here getting married whilst pregnant?? xxneed help.
yes there is ... name has slipped my baby brain.. someone due shortly and planning to get married in 2 week i think.. someone help who it is it??
Just been out and got 2 more huggies baby packs from boots for free ;-) also got a free pack or wipes.
took 4 packets of newborn nappies back to tesco and swapped for 2 huge pampers size 4 packets...
at some point i am going to have to get all the nappies out and see how many of what size i have.
Any idea how many newborn size 1 people need? i know it depends on the size of the baby.
i went to a housing fun day. didnt turn out much fun drove for 20 minutes to get there huge empty car park we werent allowed to park in. had pain in my side all the way there parked up in a really difficult space on a corner got out to get my coat and some women from housing came over and said you cant park there! well can i park in the car park then? no sorry staff only:mad: my responce (very unlike me) "well your fun day doesnt seem to be causing me much fun forget it i will just go back home!" got in the car and drove off... so annoyed sometimes i hate people:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
