7 weeks. Not spoken to her yet. Saw dr Monday and im on her list for her to call me next week to arrange the booking in appointment. So i'm under no one at moment.
Well, you can go to A&E, and see what they say, as it is out of hours, but you may be there hours waiting, depending on how busy they are.
Or you could ring the GP tomorrow, and ask for an emergency appointment, and see if they will refer you to the EPU. Usually the EPU at your hospital will only see you if the GP or your midwife refer, unless the A&E will.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Aww hun i had a bleed at 10 weeks with DD2, and i went to A&E. They dont actually do alot, but u feel better knowing ur doing something. Do u have an out of hours number u can call for ur drs? If not, and u dont want to go to A&E, then call ur EPU or DR first thing. I know its easier said than done but try not to worry. xxxxx
Forgot to add, my A&E actually got me a scan for first thing the next morning xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Well I have no pain so i'm taking that as a positive. I'll hang on til the morning. Wow that scared me.0

I think wait till tomorrow, see your usual doctor, and as Kira said, see if they can refer you to the EPU. Unless it gets really bad, then of course try A and E. I hope it isn't anything serious, but I know how scary it can be not knowing.
P.s. my out of hours service were useless for me, I don't know if A and E would've been any better?0 -
I actually called my midwife when it happened to me as i`d had the booking in app just the day b4, she told me to call nhs direct, who then told me to go to the hospital. If ur having no pain tho, then wait til the morning? I guess it all depends what services ur area has. Hope everything is ok tho Rebekah xxxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Yea i'll hang on. I'm in no pain and at 7 weeks realistically if I am miscarrying there is nothing that can be done to save it. Just one of those things. Wow i'm scared lol. My heart is pounding like mad.0

Hi emmylou. If this is of any help,I've read on the baby and bump forum that you can privately have a strep b test. They send it to you in the post, you do a couple of swabs and post them back. They tell you results via text and costs around 32 pounds xxx:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

Rebekah - I had a bleed at 6 weeks, no clots but full on streaming. Went to A&E (albeit was living in Australia at the time) and all they did was take my blood pressure, about a million vials of blood and referred me to the EPU in the morning for a scan. Oh and we sat there for aaaaages before getting seen. I would hazard a guess they'd do similar here... In my (uk) maternity notes there is a number for my local EPU, not sure if you've got notes yet, but perhaps google it for your area or even the labour ward to see if they can give you some advice. I imagine there's not much that can be done tonight but if there's a "process" for getting seen then might be better to understand it now So you're ready for the morning -- early bird catching the worm etc.
But I'm sure you'll be fine anyway, stay calm, stick on a pad and just keep an eye on it. Take it easy x0 -
Rebekha - by any chance would your period have been "due" - you sometimes get a bleed. Try not to worry. If you've been to loo and done a erm ... number 2 .... you can sometimes bleed too. If its not clumpy, and no pain then I wouldn't worry x0
