some advice needed ladies. im 30 weeks and a bit and im having braxton hicks everyday. ive tried going for a walk, having a drink, eating something. just cant curb them. is this normal? DH is worried and thinks i should ask someone.

i can feel them coming, they make me feel a bit nauseus to be honest. no pain, theyre just uncomfortable

any help or experiences really appreciated xx

I'm afraid everyone is different- i'm 37w now, and to my knowledge, havent had a single Bh yet (which i stress about just as much as you are from too many!). Some people just seem to get them more and earlier. From what i have read, stopping and lying down should ease them and get them to stop- its one of the tests for real cx vs bh!
If you give lying down a try and they continue through anyway, then that would make me speak to someone in case it is not BH.

I've just got up after lying on my office floor for my lunch. I do it every lunch, the guys are pretty much used to it now haha
Good luck though, hope they subside soon ;)

Heads up to those who know the sex of baby (purely because there isn't much unisex stuff) but Boots have 1/3 off selected baby clothes at the moment.

They have little 5 packs of vests etc for £6.60 and they're cute, not just plain white. I've bought a few things and find the quality excellent. If you purchase online you get an extra 10% off.

    Hope it helps someone xx

Edit: they have some unisex stuff, how cute are these?

I think ive hit the omg im having a baby realisation today  Only took 24 weeks to get to it :o

Finally heard my babas heartbeat today - amongst the static of it moving around for all of two seconds:) everything is measuring a-ok :)
was worried about the fundal height being out seeing as im a fatty but its spot on.

And just 8 weeks later i got my quad test result - 1 in 19000 so low risk :)

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

I think Wonder Womble will have a boy too :p but we'l see. If I keep having the recurring dream I have a girl, it's scary!

Finally started washing my baby clothes today, they're all snuggly soft and smell beautiful now :happyhear

Just need a wee baby to put in them now.
