Hiya everyone. I had a little boy ryan iain on sunday 4th December at 3pm and then 30mins later it snowed heavily in central scotland. Got out of hospital yesterday at tea-time and took a long time to get home due to heavy snow and road conditions - glad home. Big sister is loving her wee brother.

It was fairly fast once they boasted things up 3 times - he was definiately too comfy. Everything seems to be going ok at the moment.

Hope everyone is ok. He is living in sleepsuits as need to sort through sister's pink stuff and maybe sell a few stuff late on as not needed. Family now complete - boy and girl

Um, Lucy, tbh i`m not sure the difference at this hospital! I had my 3 girls in a different place! I`m thinking its stuff like, no water birth, different rooms (not so "homely") and just more checks rather than being left to labour without too many checks? I have Midwife in 2 weeks so will defo be asking her. Im thinking tho, if i did decided to have an epidural (never had or even wanted one b4!) then at least i wont need transfering as i`ll already be on the consultant ward! I had my DD1 on a consultant ward, but thats only as i was moved there for forceps. I cant see it being much different tho?
Saw Aladdin at the theatre today! Was brilliant, DD3 aged 3 LOVED it! And so did the baby! He went mad everytime there was screaming and shouting hahah!
Saw lots of friends and family when we were down south for the weekend, and of course got onto baby names.....told someone my love of the name Tatum, and they couldnt see why until they googled Channing Tatum I also told them how much i love the name Chace, but DH wont allow it altho i do get why! xx

Tatum is a lovely name, but then think of all the people who would pronounce it wrong. Tat-um, rather than Tate-um if that makes sense? It makes sense in my head anyway ha

OH has a Chinese, told him I didn't want anything, (I actually didn't I was full from dinner) but now I want one more than anything, hate being so indecisive.

Good job its not my first eh!!!

Mimi my MW has told me absolutely nothing, no info on BF or antenatal classes. The only thing she does is test my wee and BP. Just as well I sorted myself out and rang the hospital about classes etc.

The first bounty pack you get from MW, inside is a voucher to get the second from Boots or Sainsburys, the third you get on the labour ward, the 4th you get on post natal ward I think, and the 5th I'm not sure

Well ladies, it is our big day tomorrow, so I won't be on for a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to log on at the weekend and let you know how everything went.

Oooh Gilly, i must be good at picking names of gorgeous men I get what u mean about Tate-um, i wanted the baby to be known as Tate, and tbh it hadnt even crossed my mind about the Tat-um being said wrong! DH 1st choice of name was a no from me, even tho i like the name...Ethan, as i HATE it when people dont say "th" and say "f" Argh!!! If i had my way, baby would be Daniel Craig, but bit worried about 007 lol, altho i`m sure i have posted that b4! Chace i wouldnt use as in the playground it would be a bit unfair xx
