Well I'm pooping my pants now, had my check up, and doc said it's a BIG baby, and in her experience at my scan at 36 they will probably take me in (apparently that's the norm for my hospital)

11th of January? I'm not ready!!!!!

    I don't want to be induced, but I don't want a 10lber either

Made me realise I really need to get my finger out and get bags packed, clothes washed etc. She did say he's laying low though for my gestation, so maybe he'l come of his own accord :o

I was in exactly the same situation I was 4/5 weeks pregnant when I moved jobs within the NHS to a different trust and it worked out fine :) I told them when I was 12 weeks and in my contract which. Would think would be similar from trust to trust it is your continuous service ghetto on o as long as there is no break between jobs your continuous service will be unaffected and you will be entitled to full benefits :)
Contact your HR department fo full advice but I wouldn't worry if I was you!

You'd probably poop your pants. God knows what my blood pressure will be like when I go for my growth scan :rotfl:

Doctor said "Are you SURE there has been no sugar in the urine or anything?"

My reply - No I don't have diabetes I'm just growing a monster.

    Also Annabella

give me a shout when you're about, I want to ask you something Boots related, probably won't be able to help but still :o

Could be worse, they could just tell you it's going to be big, then leave you to it! :D I probably won't get another scan now, as I measure quite normal with the tape measure so far, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see what appears!

No one has measured me with a tape measure at all, they're only going with babies measurements from scan

I know, the only thing with being induced as early, is you're at higher risk of c section I've been told :( which is kinda sucky, but oh well.

Well, I haven't even felt pressure down below, despite the MW telling me I was 'firmly engaged' last time I saw her. I've had a couple of period type pains, but they've been prevalant throughout the pregnancy so far.
Keey, you said your stomach is a little upset? Mine too, but had put it down to eating rubbish (bored in house!) and really interrupted sleeping patterns.
TBH, I think I'm maybe starting to look for signs, as I'm a tad bored watching reruns of Dragon's Den and chasing a cat that's desperately foraging for food in the house at every oppurtunity- she's enough weight to open the kitchen cupboards even when I added mag sliders to them!
Gilly, you'll be fine. 11th Jan is DH's birthday!
