I know but we bought the Tommee Tippee set with the 8 bottles, insulated bottle bags, little milk containers and steriliser got it all for £55, so was happy enough with that :o

Oh man I'm so nervous about these classes, I hope they don't make you say loads about yourself  I'll be horrified if they do. (anyone who knows me in real life would be laughing at me as I'm so loud) but I hate things like that :(

Right, Indian ordered. It is only £6.50,so I m not feeling too guilty. The pizza would have been £10+.

Now just have to wait for it, and I think I am getting paracetamol as the headache is getting worse!

  • Any of you getting a sling/carrier?? Just wondering what you've gone for if so?

I got a Sleepy Wrap, well MIL did as they are £35-£40 unless you can find one on Ebay. I had one of the traditional carriers last time and didn't really like it so thought I'd try something different.

I know a lot of people don't like them, but sometimes it's easier to plonk them in the sling, rather than getting the whole car seat/buggy combination sorted, especially in a situation where buggies can get in the way. I also thought it'd be useful for helping my weight loss, walking around with an extra weight strapped to you has got to be good! Plus it's supposed to be useful for comforting, and whilst I don't want her to get too used to being with/on me for getting to sleep, it may come in handy to avoid too much fussing.

I am not getting a sling as my back hurts already and i dont think i can cope with carrying baby around. I dont think i would feel comfortable with one either but each to their own.

There is a good site called dooyoo for reviews maybe worth looking there for reviews etc

I wasnt sure, especially with my giant bazookas- worried about suffocating the poor child in them! Also was concerned that being on the larger side, that some might not fit. However decided it might be handy, so did a bit of digging on reviews, and got a Tots Bots Papoozle.

Found one on ebay for a good price, and tried it on when it arrived when i was about 32weeks, and the waist straps still fitted even then. Seemed very comfy and not too hard to work out, with quite a few different carrying positions, so as to enable me to avoid boob issues!

Before I got to this stage, I always wanted them. I am generous on top, and not sure I would be comfortable. OH always said he wants the traditional baby carrier, or even the rucksack one. I never liked those! We might have a look at something later on, but we would need one each for the twins. It might be useful for the travelling an the flying to visit our families.

:xmastree: is up!! inside the playpen to keep dylan away from it :rotfl:
have gone for blue silver and gold theme ie less tacky than usual :)

RE sling - I bought a babasling second hand for a tenner, as with Dylan running around would be good to be able to have hands free and baby tucked up. Did not want to shell out a lot as know that not absolute that I will get on with it.

Gilly - enjoy your antenatal class, I am sure it will be fine.

question - I am 33+ 5 and have noticed on the odd occasion I think unless I am going mad a click noise from bump, anyone else had this obviously it make me think bump is clearly gonna fall apart when he is born and could have clicky bones/hips or is there another explanation... I am not doing anymore Dr google !! ??

Yellow Baby due 27th March :)
    24weeks tomorrow :D

Congrats on V-Day for tomorrow, just in case I forget to say tomorrow :D
WW - so sorry to hear you had a stressful night, not long to go now though. What time does it all happen on Wednesday? I'm excited for you as we were kind of bump buddies so am keen to hear how you get on and will be thinking of you lots.

I've got to be at hospital to be booked in at 7.30am, I'm sure I'll be up from about 3am with nerves  Despite nly getting 2 hours slepp last night I am buzzing today and have done loads of housework, must be nesting. Need to go in shower and get OH to trim the lady garden just in case I have to go back tonight :D

We got a Chicco sling, mainly because it was only £15 in Home Bargains. OH wants one, but I don't think we will get much use out of it so I wasn't willing to pay any more.

    Kimmilew, Congratulations! Happy for you.

Slings- I have a huge chest (not exaggerating, I'm a size 10 and pregnancy has made me go to a K cup). Bought a sling- Hot Mommas I think is the brand. Very comfortble, even over my 39 week bump.

Ro- I've had clicking from my hips, but would have sworn I was going mad too. I hear a loud 'pop' very often from my bump, DH can't hear it. I've just decided it's Hitch moving inside me.
