Morning everyone. Feeling alot more positive today. Was in floods when hubby got home last night. Showed him the Group b strep site that Kira posted for me,plus the threads of all the women who have posted re GBS on baby and bump forum and all the great outcomes re baby and he reassured me and said how great it was that we know in advance.Apparently you can have it one week and it'd be gone the next. Its quite bad actually that most preg women have no idea they have it. Am going to pay for a private test around 35 weeks to see if I still have it. I think its quite shocking that preg women are not routinely tested in the UK like thay are in the US.:happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

YAY! Glad you and your hubby had a good chat about it, and feel more positive. I think you are exactly right, its sooo much better to have had some warning so that they can look at the right measures to take. My hospital did test me, but their routine testing is at 22 weeks, so it was AGES ago! No idea if they will test me again or not.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Morning ladies & bumps
Good luck MSM and congrats to all whose babies have arrived x
I thought I'd be a que jumper yesterday. I had the most intense braxton hicks while outside with my mum. If those are the fake ones I'm terrifed of the real ones!! They lasted about 10 secs and came every 2 mins or so. I was about to call OH and say get to hospital when they stopped.
I'd started drinking raspberry leaf tea and I have a feeling they might have brought these on so I'm holding off drinking it again until about 37 weeks.
Anyway it appears I'm stuck in the house today as I'm a clumsy git on a normal day and it's like an ice rink out there

Thanks Lucy.
Happy 29 weeks!!!
I have my 36 week m/w appointment today- i'm actually 36+6, so nearly 37!!
Defo feels like bean is wiggling lower. I'm starting to feel some real downwards pressure on my bits inside, as well as the heaviness, and the little flutters the sonographer told me were hand movements, are so low now, i cant see how they can get lower without popping out!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Morning
I'm another lady who thought she would be a queue jumper...i woke up last night to quite painfull braxton hicks that were on and off for quite a while-making me wonder if this was the start of labour. But no! lol. They eased off eventually and i got a bit of sleep.
This morning, i feel so achy. My back hurts, when i am sitting i feel rather tender down below as if there is more pressure off the baby on my bits. My tummy is still a bit dodgy too.
My midwife is seeing me this morning, so we'll see if baby has dropped at all.
