and yes just phoned him he's sent in in a wps document, when I told him to use word, as uploading your C.V to any site will require you to use word, now I'm getting, I don't know what you're talking about. My head > Brick wall.

Nearly the same height as me :)

If I still lived with my Dad, I'd have either smashed his computer up or ripped out my own brain. Being this far away is a good thing.

    HELP LADIES -

Im on mothercares website - looking for Maxi Cosi Pebble Footmuff in black - Seems its £45 everywhere, so going through quidco to mothercare for the cashback. ONLY - i have discovered they have a pacapod on there are the moment - £75 and if i buy both together its buy one get one half price, so £97.50 for the two.

I know pacapods are not very MSE, but i really really want one and have been looking at 2nd hand ones. Can i justify buying it new though with the special deal?

    Oh i just dont know!

Do any of you have a pacapod? They get great reviews, but i cant get over the price tbh...

    Morning ladies! Today's the day!

I must be team pink, there's only one pink on that birth list and so far my cousin's had a boy, friend's expecting a boy, as is her sister, workmate is also expecting a boy...

Mum and MIL taking me and OH up today (MIL was going to come later but mum wanted company). Dad and brother will have their phones charged (as they did when I was going for sweep, made a point to tell mum that they would be contactable all day, bless them!)

  • Thanks! Just had a facebook message from OH's cousin saying he "hopes I'm better soon" lol. I suppose it's the sentiment that counts.

    Good luck Eyeliner!

I've been asked a lot recently what type of birth I'm going to have, which has left me wondering more about what I should want, as I suppose a couple of sneezes and the baby pops out is not too realistic ;) I have a high BMI, had a lot of miscarages and my consultant is keen on giving me DVT treatments before and after, I'm also thinking I would like a bunch of drugs/epidural if it takes a while, I'm presuming I will not get the choice of a water pool etc. I've always hated the idea of a Caesarian being done on me, but now I'm thinking it might just be the safest and quickest way for the baby. I really dont mind I just want the baby to get as near to term as it can and be ok, so I dont really have plans. I'm confused!

What do you all want to happen at your births?

I would ideally like a natural birth, gas and air makes me ick and epidural keeps you confined to bed longer so want to try to cope with nothing as long as poss, but it seems the consultant in the diabetic clinic thinks a c section is wise as gd babies can have issues in birth, so my reasoning now is to go with whatever happens on the day, not bothering with a birth plan as I can't predict how it will go xxx
