Oh dear, that's a bit harsh.....

I thought so too, I've told him to take the note away, and the basket and we'l just get our own present. It's the fact they both work there, and not one person can be bothered, but they're all harping on at my OH because we won't spend £100 on a Christmas night out dinner thing, not including drinks!

Oh this makes me feel better! We were 2lb 1oz at 26 +2 and 3lb 6oz at 29+2

All the lady had to say was "healthy baby" she had a glint in her eye though :o

I sort of assumed I'd have a big 'un, because OH and his siblings were all big babies. With a boy too, they're normally bigger so I wasn't surprised. Just aswell we've not bought many new born clothes :D

Bump measured 6lbs 6oz at 35 weeks, so they estimate just under 9lbs birth weight. I asked if it was 1/2lb a week and consultant said that its only that much for the last four weeks while baby is fattening up and the scan weight can be +/- 25% out as its all based on computer calculations and estimates. So really anywhere between 8 and 10lbs birth weight.

Im not worried too much, MIL assures me that it was easier to push out her 9lb son than the 6 1/2lb one!

I havent bought anything specifically maternity trouser wise. I have regular tracksuit bottoms and yoga pants as they all have stretchy waists for comfort and sit just below bump. Havent needed to buy any in larger sizes or anything. Am 36 weeks now and could probably do with a bump band more so dont flash my tum when sitting down/standing up, but with 5 weeks to go i dont want to spend any money!

Just have maternity tops. Vests, long sleve and short sleve, i think £12 for a 3 pack a newlook.
