Lol! thanks for that comment, soves me wasting my time looking and getting frustrated by the same thing! I'm a 32F and finding any bras in my size that don't cost a small fortune is nigh on impossible!!

I am even bigger, the previous bra was 32J!!!! I went last week to get a maternity bra, but places like Debenhams are out of luck for me, as the lady just stared at me when I said my size. Ended up in Bravissimo, buying £26 bra, which is not that pretty, but fits. I found that I had to go up the band size with the maternity bra (34HH), although my size haven't changed yet at all (I am 10w+6). It is not the most glamorous thing, but it is comfortable enough. I would love to get something nicer, though...

I have bought a pack of 2 bras from mothercare, and I don't think they were the right size, (can't remember what the size was!!), but I tried it at home for a bit, and the straps were cutting in, no definition, and ended up returning them.

I hear Hot milk are nice bras, but I haven't managed to find any in my size yet.

I think it depends on area Aimless some places will induce bigger babies some places don't. The longest in any trusts I've heard of going over is 14 days. So you should be okay


Well went for my catch up 28/30 week appointment, as predicted they had to take the bloods from my hand!!!!! How crap must my veins be was a lot less painful though so I'm not complaining, hand is a bit swollen now though

On another note baby is measuring 3lb 6oz at 29 weeks :eek: so I've to get a growth scan at 36 weeks and if he's still big they said they'd consider inducing me at 37, which is just scary!

No urine infection either for anyone who wanted to know, in a way I'd sort of hoped they would find something, as getting up 8 times (yes that was last night) a night for the toilet is starting to get on my nerves.

I got two M&S nursing bras from ebay and have found the same - that you end up having one boob as there's nothing really to seperate them! Also found that if you wear them all day, you get sweaty cleavage (sorry if TMI)

I used to be a 30F *sigh* but with my bump getting in the way, I'm currently in a 36F or FF. Royce go up to J cups if you're struggling, they're not particularly great, but seem to be cheap most places.

Ginvzt, I'd love to treat myself to a lovely Hot Milk bra, but to start with I just kept going up size after size, and now it seems hardly worth it till I know what nursing bra size I might be. And I've not seen them to try on either, so would have to buy online and hope for a good fit!

Aimless~ it depends on the hospital and on the age and health of the Mother.

In my case (I am 40), they won't let me go beyond 40 weeks.

Thanks - watched a video on how to measure myself, so might do that first.
I guess it'll be trial and error, couldn't be arsed going to the shops!

I went to M&S and had a wonderful woman who measured me and gave great advice on bras. I got 2 of the supersoft cotton non-underwired bras - they are not maternity ones and not nursing ones either but are so comfortable. Plus I only have 6 weeks left so hopefully they will fit till I need nursing bras.
