Have my 34 week m/w appointment this afternoon and need to have my 2nd Anti-D injection, catch you all later :-):T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

Lizzyb - I agree with the comment about not letting yourself get hungry as that made my nausea worse (I am 32 weeks now and thankfully past that horrible stage..). Found that ensuring I ate breakfast as soon as wake up (hubby dispatched to fetch some toast etc as I would feel ill if moved before had eaten) and made sure did not do much for a while just rested before getting up. Sucking Ice cubes and fruit ice lollies helped. Also found did not like any of usual drinks but diluted fresh apple juice helped. And if you hate the smell of cooking which I did then get oh to do the cooking until it passes, the smell of roast meat used to finish me off completely. Also avoided chocolate hope it passes as soon as possible for you and dont worry about what you end up eating as once it passes you can then eat better.
All - no leaky boobs yet, but have some pads stored just in case.
Gilly - oohh can understand why you would be wincing at the thought!! Fingers crossed bubs slows his growth spurt xx
All - re bras am going to be trying some front fastening bras, cheap not much support (they are already at my knees so anything is an improvement..) but can get them in all cotton but problem is fit (you order in dress size) and the size originally bought murdered the area round my nips oh well!!! waiting for next size up as like that they are cotton and would be easy to get on and off. They were advertised in the DM you know the section where you buy the worlds lightest shoes and other dodgy stuff :rotfl:just under £20 for 2. They do not adjust either at shoulders or round middle so not for those who are looking for good support etc just something that is a bra, cotton, front fastening and can put pads, you know *Basic*!!!
Been washing some baby clothes!! but appear to have lost some, now where did I put them??

OOOH before I forget, Tescos own breast pads, 50p a box at the moment  They seem better than the Tommee Tippee ones I bought for £4 a box at Boots, they have a large sticky area. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I'm not actually leaking yet, but there's definitely milk there as I start dripping a bit when getting dried after showering (and then when I tried poking them to see if that really was a drip
) but no need for breast pads just yet... though I probably should get some! I'm 29 and a bit weeks now...
My first antenatal class through SureStart was excellent, really impressed. A nice group, and only about 10 people inc partners so fairly relaxed and chatty. I was quite shocked to hear this is their last set of classes at that centre though, due to the funding cuts! We covered the first stage of labour... talking about the second stage next week.0 -
Oh my god, its impossible to find some maternity tracksuit pants/joggers/yoga pants anywhere! Sold out
Going to start wearing them for my last 5 weeks of work
31 weeks on Friday!DFD February 2012

Just a reminder - Philips Avent 3 in 1 steriliser is on Amazon Black Friday sale in 5 min! (if anyone is interested)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/deals-offers-savings/b/ref=amb_link_161932547_2?ie=UTF8&node=350613011&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=right-csm-1&pf_rd_r=1RXVMC67JTA7YE922MEB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=262815527&pf_rd_i=468294
It is £21.99, so I think a very good deal. And even thought I promised to OH not to buy anything baby related until Christmas, I decided to go for this one. As I had £15 gift voucher as well, only paid £6.99!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
With my first, i didn't leak until day 3 after the birth then i really needed the breast pads, honestly felt like a cow! Regarding the bras, i only bought nursing bras rather than maternity as i figured what goes up will come down! i found that i still used them after the birth and saved me getting two sets of bras. The bras i had at the end of pregnancy were fine for nursing as they have a bit of give in them and its just the first week or so that you'll be like Jordan when the milk comes in, they will go down a bit. x"Find something you love to do and you'll never have to work a day in your life." - Harvey Mackay

I don't know what to think of this.
A couple from my OH's work, have just had a baby (they both work there) so OH took a card in and left a basket for a small collection for them and was either gonna get them vouchers or a present and had left a note detailing all this, on SUNDAY, he went in today, noones signed the card or left any money at all, it's just his fiver still in the basket!!The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
