Lirin- my stretch marks are very similar to yours. I hate the way they feel. most are under my belly button so i cant see them as well. Your bump looks about the same size as mine do you know what yours measures? they say mine is 38cm!

No signs, nothing of this little baby coming. I walked for many hours, ate many spicey foods and even tried the woohoo with husband! but hey, if baby aint ready! I'm just eager to pop since my belly is soooo big. And of course I want to meet the little one..but mainly because I want to pee when I want too! raraar

  • At which point (in weeks) did any of you feel alot of cervix pressure? I've got strong grinding in mine several times a day, painful/eyewatering. I get it worse when sitting on the toilet (no1!) again, sharp intake of breath, often a yelp!
Is this baby getting engaged? Or I'm already engaged & baby rummaging for a way out? I feel I'm really struggling for internal space with pressure on cervix & ribs at same time, I'm trying to work out if this baby is getting ready to come a bit early.

Others experience of this would be great!

I have grinding, but really unsure whether that's SPD or baby, TBH.

I don't know whether I am or not! It's getting uncomfortable to walk, but I don't have the feeling of a bowling ball that people keep saying I will get. I do feel pressure down there all the time, and have wondered if I should just take up residence on the toilet. I definitely notice the BH's- sitting in a restaurant with DH tonight, and trying my best not to gasp and grab bump- they're getting a little painful. I do notice when I'm standing or walking it becomes heavier and harder to walk, and frequently when I'm even sitting, I'm struggling for breath at times.

36cm at 37 weeks.... Mine bother me at times, not so much at others. Sure, I'd love the flat unmarked stomach I had when I was in my 20's, but that was going to be hard to regain anyway as I don't do martial arts really anymore! It's just one more experience in life.

Had been using bio-oil and moisturiser religiously, which seemed to have no real effect.
Had nothing until Hitch really decided to use me as a personal gym, then could feel the skin going.

Lirin, your look just like mine do. I think if you are going to get stretch marks you will regardless of what you use. I've religiously moisturised 2 or 3 times a day to no avail. My sister tells my niece that they were caused by her tickling the inside of her tummy when she was in her belly :D

I've emptied all the work stuff out of the boot of my car, it is amazing the amount of paperwork that was in there  I bet my car ges like the wind now :D I'm getting it valeted tomorrow through a voucher for £9 from KGB deals.

I've also done some more Christmas present wrapping and might write some cards out tonight.

Baby is very busy tonight shuffling from one side to the other. I should really get off my bum and get it on the camcorder.
  • Evening ladies.

Had a lovely shopping day today. Got lots done for Xmas.

TK Maxx have some lovely Xmas and baby stuff in at the minute.

After we finished shopping, i was meant to be cooking sunday lunch but went to pub for lunch instead so that just topped it off... :D

If anyone is heading for Asda, ours had this down to £1.31. Had it out and it looks lovely. It was on SEL at that price so hope it's nationwide.

Also had an electric breast pump priced at £16, but scanned at £80. They wouldn't let me have it for less than that, even though it was the exact same description on the SEL. Booo. :(

  • Money saving mama, im having cervix pains as well. similar to period pain is the only way to describe it, sorry if this is TMI but it does actually feel like my cervix is contracting, but i dont feel contractions anywhere on the bump if that makes sense. lots of extra discharge and backpain today so hoping that the end is in sight. 35+3 (i think) today and getting induction date on tuesday so if baby can hold on till after the 3rd december i will be happy, but in all honesty im wanting baby out on tuesday :p

only downside is DH decided it was his turn to fall down the stairs tonight  so between the pair of us we have 1 working pair of feet. thankfully i can drive if i wear birkinstocks, but DH cant put any weight whatsover on his foot and its his right foot :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Im defo packing my hospital bag tomorrow as i just have this feeling that its not going to be long. was hoping to go to metro centre tomorrow for my birthday. i wanted a new charm for my bracelet and some hotel chocolate goodies but it may have to wait :( on the plus side, babys room is organised apart from car seat base in car and the cotbed isnt here yet, but the moses basket is.

i think if you are going to get stretch marks you just get them. saying that if you are creaming remember to do around your hips as after i had DD1 there were loads of stretch marks there!

Mine itch at the moment with is really bothering me!

Sigh, since when did my other half snore like a warthog?!

Built my pram today, it's lovely :) And washed the crib and moved it upstairs, only for other half to use it to put his clothes in when he got undressed! He couldn't see why I wasn't happy about that, men eh!
