Okay this is the worst nights sleep ever. 4 am and still awake!! Acid reflux and really bad itching are to blame. More annoyingly I am tired:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Aaaah, Jen, it's a nightmare isn't it? I've been awake since 4.45am. I remember the days I could go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 7am0

Morning all. Sorry to hear sleepless nights are around. I went off well, but had to wake for a wee even earlier than usual, which then woke the bean up, and she went crazy! Had 20 minutes of rocking myself before she calmed down enough for me to get back to sleep which took about an hour.
Am excited and dreading today in equal measure. Not seen my step mum for a while, and she is coming round to take me shopping at John Lewis today. Be nice to see her, and do some girl baby shopping, which i've not done yet ith mum ill and so far away, hence excited. But i KNOW how tired i get and how achy my back is and puffy my feet are, even after half an hour walking round, so a bit dreading the whole thing too..
On another note, i've kept my bump hidden from you all till now (no need to inflict misery unnecessarily!), but today i think my bump is a really cute little bump shape so have decided to share it with you. Not a great pic, as all our mirrors are too high for a sidewards one. But hey, today i like my 34+5w effort!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Aw cute Kira
Our toilet is blocked!!! I think continually using quilted loo roll has came back to bite us on the bum, literallyLetting agents can't guarantee someone will be round today? !!!!!!? I'm a pregnant lady who pees a lot I need a working loo.
On another note 29 weeks todayfeels like I'm getting there, although as the weeks go on the worry just gets more and more

Morning all. Looks like no new babies since I last checked, hope that it won't be long for the boldies! I seem to be a lot further up that list than ever before, I guess it's just growing behind me and nothing to do with the fact I'm at 34 weeks now...
Had a busy few days so not been on. Bathroom is finally done, so I have the 'nursery' back as a room we can get in and we've started to get things set up. Got a ton of washing to do for baby for starters, and unpacking etc.
I've been gradually educating DH about baby stuff as we go along, scared him yesterday by explaining braxton hicks and that we can't go to the hospital at the first real contraction! However, it would appear I still have a way to go, as last night he asked me how long it would be before she opened her eyes... apparently he thought babies were like puppies and kittens and it would be at least a few days!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Late night and early morning courtesy of DS's dad breaking his ankle at footie yesterday and an evening trip to A&E! We're still good friends so call on each other for stuff, so he rang at 1am to let me know what's happening and asking if I could take him to work this morning. So by the time I'm usually getting up, I've been round to his to pick him, DS and half-sister up to drop them off at nanny's to go to school, then taken him to work and been round to his house to pick up DS' lunch that was forgotten and dropped it off at school. Will be picking him up at 5 then probably taking him to clinic appt at hospital tomorrow. Not the busy day I was expecting! At least I can have a nap later, ahhhhhhhhLittle lady arrived 13/12/110

Congrats on 29 weeks Gilly!
Yumymummy, nice it is amicable between you both, and I' sure you will get sleep later!
I am terminally bored, I think, I have to be- I've done 90 mins of ironing as there wasn't a lot, but couldn't find anyway to sit or stand that was even remotely comfortable.
I caught up with Nice, whose wife is still pregnant, and discovered my replacement didn't work out. No great surprises there.....
I hate our sofa, and the bed is uncomfortable. Cracking every time I need to get up, even with DH helping me (he's thrilled about that 4-5 times a night!)....
It's really really sad that I googled a countdown timer this morning, and worked out there's 425 hours from now until the end of day of my due date....0 -
Ironing wrecks me now, my whole body aches, but it needs done
short of paying someone to do it, I have to, luckily for me PJ's don't need ironed

DH has been told he's lucky he's short. Less to iron.
And I'm replacing all our clothing with lycra, which never needs ironed.0 -
Sounds reasonable.
If my OH doesn't get out his pit to chase the letting agents up, I will not be responsible for my own actions!!!!!!The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
