Ahh.. its true, the position makes a huge difference. Some days i feel like i'm needing the loo every half hour, other days its fine. Plus i've been heinously thirsty and drinking more, since end of 2nd tri, so have been weeing more due to that too. If you have an appointment anyway, then thats great to have some reassurance. What are we all like with our worrying eh!

Mmmmmm vodka and cranberry... i remember that. Voddy always used to be my drink. Sainsburys had an offer on crabbies alcoholic ginger beer when i was doing our online shop. 3 for £5. How tempted was i. That is the first thing i'm having when i'm allowed a proper drink again. A full long glass of cold, wet, yummy crabbies with ice and a slice. Heaven.

I am really not happy with babies new position she is making me very paranoid. She doesnt move as much and when i lie down my belly goes really soft and i can press down and cant feel a thing before it was really hard. I guess i just have to get used to it

Well for me it'l be a nice cold bottle of Koppaberg Summer/Winter Fruits, loads of ice. mmmmmm. Talking of that I was so convinced I wasn't pregnant when I bought my preg tests at Mr T's I bought 3 bottles of that at the same time :rotfl: Luckily I done the test before cracking a bottle open. Sweet jesus I'm embarrassed telling that story.

Jenjade, my wee baby is laying similar except on my left, I do feel him, but the movements are really quite subtle I'd say, compared to how I used to be battered constantly. Try not to worry xx

Gilly- Don't feel bad. Are you buying it, or your MIL? If it's her, it's very tricky to influence her without being rude by the sounds of it.... If it's you, buy what you wish, let her think what she likes! My dad was up yestarday, and commented my sister thought we had too much stuff for baby- he said she asked him if I couldn't stop buying! I told him to pass back to her that the reason Ihave so much stuff is she has lent it to me! I've bought the cot for £20, pram and carseat for £20, and the 4p prewalkers.... I'd think fairly MSE! Also, NI people can sound very direct and blunt, honey, when it's so far from what they mean- emotion doesn't translate well in our dialect- I remember being shocked by how rude some people appeared when I moved back home after a few years away, until I remembered it's 'just our way.' Not making excuses, but it's possible she didn't mean it to sound the way it did. Ignore her with the UTI thing- some bladder infections can smell sugary and sweet, but that would be your urine, not you- and unless she's sniffing your knickers..... which would be a little freakily 'close' for a MIL..... A UTI is standardly tested by your GP/MW, if yours was clear, you have no worry.

Bump- At 38 weeks, I can understand why your OH wants to go out, maybe to blow off a little steam before baby? But at the same time, it's leaving it a little late if anything happens.... a drunk partner isn't what you need if you go into labour. I definitely don't think you're being unreasonable- my DH dislikes me leaving the same town without him at this stage! DH doesn't drink- he just dislikes the taste. My ex- that was a different story, and wasn't pleasant for a number of reasons. DH doesn't mind me having a few drinks, but I'm not a big drinker anyway.

WW- I'm just back from Asda, also bought a bauble saying 'My First Christmas'.....

Sounds like high emotions running in here tonight.... We're getting ready to settle down, my back and pelvis have been killing me all day.... Just uncomfortable, sore and shuffly all day- think the car boot sale and Tesco this morning overdid it....

Thanks Lirin cheered me up slightly I'm just an emotional wreck today, I moan I don't go anywhere, and I eventually get out for the day and all I wanted to do was come home, I'm getting strangely clingy to OH it's worrying me, makes me think this baby is gonna make an appearance sooner rather than later!

I think an early night is on the cards, I'm knackered and think OH is too, I fancy a bit of James Bond tonight, so hopefully we can dig out a DVD

hi all after 38 week stretc an sweep app.... we couldnt do it due to baby being too high. they did scan... and baby was 10lbs at 38 weeks... top 3% for everything.

consultant agreed to move induction forward to 39+2. so its now 24th
