Scan went fine, lil lady measured fine for 28 weeks, she kept on playing with her feet throughout the scan, which was really sweet to see, weirdly the scan lady said she weighs 2lb10oz, how on earth can they tell?!!??, I have consultant in 2 days to go over scan and generally check me over, not sure if they will ring me with gtt results or wait till I see consultant.
all in all a lovely morning!! now for a massive fry up courtesy of oh cooking!!! xxx Anna is a beautiful name xx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Toniq - Glad your scan went well!
Well, just went to my usual pick me up website to put a smile on my face (cuteoverload) and am now distraught after seeing an image of a kitten clutching to a mans boot in the floods in Vietnam, and after reading they didn't rescue it. Have had to go to the bathroom coz i can't stop crying.......
Telling myself now that it survived against all odds......DFD February 2012

Great news on the scans Lisa and Toniq :j
4nnabella, I personally wouldn't have a name similar to mine, but no one comments when a son is named after a father so it shouldn't make any difference if a daughter has a similar name to her mother?
Well I've had my Consultant appointment and I'm booked in for a section on 7th December. It feels weird to know baby will be arriving then, unless s/he gets impatient and decides to make an early entrance! 3 weeks and 1 day and I should be holding our baby in my arms. I could cry thinking about it0 -
yeah builder is gone, Feel much more comfortable now.
I am waiting for my breast pump and baby monitor to arrive from mothercare! so excited
then the only thing i will need is cot mattress and i would rather wait a while to get that as i dont need it yet:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

WW - I have goosebumps reading that you have an actual DATE. Hope you're feeling ok about it all? That's so not long! I am expecting to go late to be honest, so I might have to stalk you after to see how you're doing and get some hints and tips. Lots of love x0

YAY WW - how exciting! not long to go now
I was just talking to a woman at work who was saying her friend just had a baby - eight weeks early! That would be a week on Sunday for me! And she said that she had her own baby five and a half weeks early, she wasn't even on maternity leave from work at that point... I'm sooo worried I'm going to go early! Well, not worried, as we're ready for little one arriving, equipment-wise, and I'm ready to meet him/her, although I know OH would like it to stay put until after Christmas, although I don't really know his exact reasons behind that... Best keep my legs crossed:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

afternoon ladies. Hope you're enjoying the maternity leave Jenjade making soup sounds like a good plan to me. I'm planning on doing not much today, just tidied the living room and kitchen, and now got a few hours of tv shows to keep me happy. I'd also like to rip out my over active bladder.
Annabella we met OH's aunt yesterday and she was saying her daughter went 3 weeks early, and then I was 5 and a half weeks early, if ours comes that early we won't be organised more than likely.
Also think we've changed our mind about the swinging crib AGAIN. Think we're going back down the route of moses basket and then cotbed. Far too indecisive. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
