Back from the inlaws, OH's uncle came in, right over to me on the couch (I've never met this man before) Oh I've got to have a feel of the bump. I feel violated
he's probably a very nice man, but how would he feel if I done that to his belly?!?!
Now I'm back in, would it be wrong to walk a mile round trip to buy a big tin of Fox's biscuits? They're on offer in OH's work and I want me some but I feel like a fat cow.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
I'm drinking loads of milk, but I don't think I'm quite in the same league as jenjade
I reckon we're getting through a 4-pint bottle every couple of days.
Gilly - if you want biscuits and there's no-one who can go and get you them then go for it! A mile is nothing... and you will therefore earn the biscuits! Although maybe try not to eat the whole box in one go... :rotfl::j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
I hate it when people touch, thankfully I've not had much of it (apart from MIL and cousin's SIL who I know quite well).
I was for buying a big tin of Roses or Quality Street at Asda today, but OH was there and persuaded me not to. He did get puff pastry mince pies though (as well as stuff for our yummy dinner - the lamb chops, mash and carrots mutated into chops, leek and onion mash and minted peas). He's for making bread and butter pud tomorrow.
Mmmm, you've put me in the mood for milk now."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

I spent saturday night in the pub.... drinking ice water and selling cds.
Couldn't even have coke cos of the caffeine, or juice because of the heartburn. I was wearing a pair of the other half's baggy dungarees and his jumper cos none of mine will fit, none of the people in the pub (who haven't seen me since 12 weeks) noticed my enormous belly! It looks huge when I'm not dressed, but soon as I put stuff on, I just look fat.
It was so nice to leave the house, but the 6 hour travelling time (plus 3 hours the day before) practically crippled me, I couldn't move on sunday!0 -
I've got 12 more days in the office, then i'm working from home till xmas.
I'm getting soooo tired with the long drive both ways, and sitting on hard chairs for long meetings, i cannot wait to be at home. Glad i'll still be working, so i dont get bored, but just not having the 3 hours in the car will be A-mazing!
My main problem now, is mum just called to say she has been given a date of 23rd Nov for her big op. Means 1 week in hospital, and then home but totally dependant. So i will just be on working at home when she is released, and she would like me to go up and look after her (and the frick*ng dog) that week she is released. Its not lack of willingness to help my mum, i'll be there like a shot to help if i can, but i'm a) not willing or able to take the dog out on walks and bend down to pick up poo and clean up his little accidents at home b) also worried that by then i'll be 36 weeks, which is a little close for comfort, and if i go into labour early, it will be at a strange hospital, with no support as she wont be up to it, and DH will be 4-5 hours away at least.. on the other hand, i may still have 5 weeks to go if bean is late!?
Just dont know what to do..
JUST SAY NO! Seriousy, she knew this would be on you when she chose to get the dog.
Offer her to stay with you maybe, but someone else has to have the dog.:j - DS - 7

Thanks.. would gladly have her here with us, despite the house being small, but she needs to be seen by her doctors and hospital every few days, and her hospital is even further away from us than she is..
Earlier i was thinking that i might be able to persuade her to get someone else to take the dog, and me stay to look after her, and that might work, but now i'm home, and having struggled up and down the stairs and fallen asleep knacked on the sofa after work, i'm thinking that i'm physically just not going to be able to manage to look after someone else in another 3 weeks time at 36 weeks.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

OMG. Went to the shop for biscuits, me and OH decided to share chicken goujons and chips from a chippy we've never been to before, yummiest things ever, however I am now dying from indigestion, it's seriously the worst I've ever felt it. Serves me right I guess
ha..

Kira, could you get the dog into a kennel for the week? Or return it to the adoption home temparaily?
Would your mum be able to get a home help for a week to help out? I don't envy your choice, but I would tell your mum how you feel and ask her for ideas on a solution. Maybe she has a local friend who can help share her care with you?:ANeeding to save all the money, lots of MSE learning still to do

I have 28 week growth scan at 09:20am, and simplified gtt before, had to fast and take 410ml of original lucozade, had to be took 2 hrs before blood test, which I'm planning on queuing up for at 08:30am before bus pass people are allowed on bus, so fingers crossed I can then nip to scan dept and not be late to growth scan! excited but very very nervous x
