Morning all, had a crap nights sleep last night, OH left his computer on all night because.... he was downloading Call of Duty. Swiftly got told in 12 weeks time he'l have no time for such nonsense, what is it with grown men and computer games?!?

On top of that I finally agreed to watch the Star Wars films and I really don't understand, I did try, very hard, but apparently I ask stupid question. Not sure if I don't get them or I just don't want to get them. Hmmm.

Going through to in laws today for a wee visit, not seen them in weeks and they have baby goodies from America for us, including stuff from Pottery Barn kids *gushes* so excited.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Thinking of you missymoo.

Oh another thing, a really good friend of mines Dad is going through a big op today, so if anyone would like to think of him in there prayers I'd really appreciate it :) xx

hehehe.... I was playing Call Of Duty last night, it's very good! And we'd considered names from Star Wars for Hitch- one of the girls names Lira, is a female version of a cantana player in The Empire Strikes Back.... I'm a geek as well! :rotfl:

    Happy due date Steph!

Back from dentist, who told me my teeth are perfect, not a single problem.

Though when a dentist says they're going to check the condition of your gums, what that translates as- 'I've a lovely sharp hook thing here, and I'm just going to jab it into your gum between each tooth and see how much you bleed.'

Kitty has taken up residence in my piano- I think!- as it's the only place she can be.... Haven't seen her in a while, and I can't reach in to check. DH can pull her out when he gets home- she's a bit nervous.

And this is why I hate the dentist... I know I need a couple of fillings doing though, so am going to have to force myself to go after Pip has arrived, while it's still free! Not looking forward to it...

My Harley (big ginger furball in my avatar...) spent the first week after I got him hidden under the very back corner of our corner sofa before he started to venture out, then when we moved to the house we're in now he spent the first few weeks in the bed, actually under the duvet, only coming out to eat/use the litter tray etc when me and OH were out. Then for a few more weeks after that, whenever there was a knock at the door or an unexpected noise, he would fly back up the stairs and into the bed... He's calmed down so much over the last 18 months, even the fireworks last weekend didn't bother him, and last year he was a nervous wreck! Although I don't think he'll ever like the vacuum cleaner... He scoots around it like it's going to bite him, even when it's off!

  • Morning girls, happy Monday!

I too think Gary Barlow has got rather tasty as he's got older. He used to repulse me and now I fancy him quite a lot.

Ummm... I have a confession (and this just shows how my head hasn't been straight for months) - but my EDD is WRONG! It's 12 Dec, not 11 Dec. Which I'm happy about as it gives me an extra day, but sad about because I'm no longer officially bump buddies with WW and Yummymummy - plus apparently around here they let you go 12 days before being induced which means if I'm late I'd be induced on Christmas Eve - RUBBISH. Could someone update the list please?

36 weeks today... My bump still isn't massive, though my bum is.

So glad Kitty went on X-Factor.

What are you all having for dinner? I need some inspiration!

Off to see 3 friends now with babies aged 26 months, 14 months, 4 months and 2 months.

    Laters peeps, BM :) x

Hi BM, I have updated the latest list above for you!

Souds like you've got a fun afternoon planned with all those babies! Enjoy! :D

I think we're having pasta for dinner, those little spinach and ricotta-filled tortellinis, with chicken, peppers etc in a tomato sauce... Not very inspiring but it always needs to be something quick and easy on Mondays as OH goes to his kickboxing club at 8pm and always likes to have eaten by 7pm to allow time for it to settle. Seeing as we often don't get home until 6pm or so, it's a bit of a challenge! It's normally either the pasta or stir-fry as that's quick too!
