Morning everyone. Off out christmas shopping later. Going to make a start on son's pressies,just the usual smellies and novelty things etc. Alot of the stuff he's asked for are xbox games which have yet to come out,but he's given me a list of aftershaves,soap and glory stuff,shop vouchers etc,so quite easy:)

22+1 today feel like I'm actually getting somewhere now!! Got lots of housework to do today then off to mums for dinner as dp works late on a Monday. Nice to not have to cook for a evening!!
Woke up about 5am this morning but I thought it was nearly time to get up so I struggled to get back to sleep!!

Kitty has arrived- named Isabella- and is taking a good look round our house, watched by a very jealous Lab who wants in to play with her. I could see how hard it was to let go of her when she was dropped off this morning- the husband dropped her off while he was on his way to work. It's the wife I'd been talking to, and she was finding it hard, but it's obvious he found it hard.
They're welcome around here anytime if they want to see her, it is never a problem.

I'm getting ready to go out- the dentist. Finally remembered I need to register with one!

Morning all, had a crap nights sleep last night, OH left his computer on all night because.... he was downloading Call of Duty. Swiftly got told in 12 weeks time he'l have no time for such nonsense, what is it with grown men and computer games?!?

On top of that I finally agreed to watch the Star Wars films and I really don't understand, I did try, very hard, but apparently I ask stupid question. Not sure if I don't get them or I just don't want to get them. Hmmm.

Going through to in laws today for a wee visit, not seen them in weeks and they have baby goodies from America for us, including stuff from Pottery Barn kids *gushes* so excited.

Oh another thing, a really good friend of mines Dad is going through a big op today, so if anyone would like to think of him in there prayers I'd really appreciate it xx

Well, my nights of managing to sleep through (or with only one brief trip to the toilet...) appear to be over The last couple of nights I have woken frequently needing to turn over, so this appears to be the beginning of the end! I think last night I went to the toilet once but woke up three or four times to turn over. I am assuming it's only going to get worse! :rotfl: I need to get a thin pillow sorted to have between my legs I think, as I don't have one yet. At one point when I woke up I was practically lying flat on my tummy, or as flat as I can manage... Not sure what Pip was thinking!

I am hoping today is only going to get better... Trying to get out of the house this morning just took forever, then when we got to work (later than usual) we were driving round for 15-20 mins trying to find a parking space, which just got both OH and me even more frustrated... We really need to start being more organised the night before with things like making lunches and OH ironing his shirt for the next day, so that the morning isn't as hectic...

Still, only 33 more working days for me until mat leave (47 days in total, including weekends...) and 69 until my due date! :eek:

Gilly - I don't get the Star Wars films either, I've never seen any of them the whole way through. It's not just you

Lirin - I think we need photos of your new kitty once she's settled in! Have fun at the dentist!

Im just looking at the new arrivals list and realised 2/3 of my kiddies names are up there (and a back up name). Impeccable taste to those new mums if I must say.

Baby is still hanging in there. I am feeling a bit more positive now baby can make ripples in the bath.

It's lovely Gilly to have a few familiar faces going through the pregnancy at the same time. Just over 11 weeks to go. Woop woop.

Hubby and BIL moved the spare sofa out of the baby's room yesterday, so it's looking better now with just the cot, wardrobe and drawers in there. I keep peeking in every time I walk past it Need to get the sofa on freecycle soon seeing as it's in the garage for now.

Can't remember who was talking about the pillow between the knees when sleeping. but I've been doing this from really early on in pregnancy and I'm sure it's been helping me. I still get some pelvis pain, but since it started about week 23, it's not gotten any worse.

I'll be working until 2 weeks,3 days before my due date and then taking 2 weeks holiday, lol. When is everyone else finishing up work?

Were do I pick up the RLT capsules? Somewhere like Holland & Barratt?

PS - Ro, Don't think I didn't notice you had KFC over the weekend. I would go today but already sorted my lunch. Maybe tomorrow....... :P

Updated :P , not sure if it meets content but our due date is well been moved :P. Induced medically on 28th november (1 day before due date) and sweep 12 days before that. Wife has polyhydramnios (too much fluid, we already done tests so not too worried about causes). Baby is massive, and supposedly big babies and polyhydramnios are linked (either via diabetes or other reasons).
