Oooh and how could I forget...I think I felt the baby move for the first times on Friday and Saturday. I'm 15 weeks with my first, does that sound feasible?

This is my first. I was feeling movements at 16 weeks, and DH was able to feel it at 17 weeks, so I'm sure that's possible!

    Morning girlies!!!

I've got a changing bag to match my pram. I didnt MSE it either (I did with DD!) so splashed out this time. I have a Silver Cross Sleep Over in Ebony: http://www.silvercross.co.uk/prams-and-travel-systems/classic-sleepover/ however - I didnt need to buy a car seat, cot, travel cot or many clothes (kept these from DD!) so figured i could splash!

    .......

OH's ex had a c sec with his son so he didnt ACTUALLY see anything . . so we're (me and mum) teasing him about the birth lol He asked why i had disposable knickers in my bag :rotfl:

    ........

Is anyone due in dec/jan time that live in a remote area. I'm panicking - mum read about this "arctic winter" - well when it snows you CANNOT get out of the village i live in (I'm not kidding!) there's 2 roads into the village and both get blocked off (honestly its like going back to the 1800's!) i figure the ambulances MUST have winter tyres on them to get through....

Oooh, I just ordered a linear freeway, does the sleepover come with the nice slightly old fashioned looking Silver Cross bag included too?

I was talking to my other half about buying some hideous cheap Primark pants for after, he was a bit confused as to why I'd need them, I had to break it to him gently. :D Think I need to give him a crash course in how this all works soon.

I'm not exactly remote, being just off a main road, but I am 15 miles from the hospital, and it isn't a very main road. I shall just not think about the possibility of any snow, particularly when the other half is over a hundred miles away.

Oh, I came across this last night on baby and bump. It's a link that shows you how your organs move to make room for the baby. I made sure hubby watched it too to remind him that pregnancy isn't as easy as he might think :rotfl:

It is a nice bag, a little Mary Poppinsish I think! :D Not that I bought it just cos of the bag. :D It also goes rear facing, feels sturdy, and (just!) fits in the car. The £120 off at Toys R Us was just a bonus. :D

This morning has not started well! Went for my flu-jab, had to pay minimum charge of £2 parking. Went in dead on time, flujab nurse not turned up yet. Waited 35 mins for her to show. Some snotty cow tried to queue jump. Her appointment was booked for well after mine and when she arrived and was told the nurse was late, and did she want to wait or rebook, huffed and asked if she was first in the queue. The receptionist said no, 2 others in front (number 1 being me!), and the woman looked over to see who was waiting (me and some 50-60yr old) and said -"but I cant take any more time off work so I cant wait to be seen and its not conveneient to rebook", the receptionist looked at me, and i raised a rather frosty eyebrow in the direction snotty cow.. she smiled. No queue jumping today.. so silly mare sat down arms crossed huffing and giving me evils.. Yeah lady, make the pregnant lady sit longer in a waiting room of sick people and no loo. That was SOO going to happen.

Then got home and rang hospital to get my LFT and Bile blood results from Friday, spoke to a lovely lady who gave me the actual results for the 3 previous sets of tests (which i havent been given before as figures), only it appears there is no record of any bloods being taken on Friday for me anywhere in the system, they are "mislaid". She is getting on to the path lab to see if they can be found, but otherwise i might have to "pop back" for some more... marvellous.

That's how it's supposed to happen. It just swooshes out in 17 seconds...... :)

Kira, I'd have loved to have seen snotty's face.

LOL. She rather reminded me of Kevin from Kevin and perry, with all the huffing and head tossing as she waited.. Life, Its SOOOOO unfair!

I was in an evil mood anyway though, so quite enjoyed upsetting her, as all these people kept walking in to the clinic, and not bothering to close the door behind them, so freezing air was blowing through. Started off being tolerant but by the 4th person, i was ready to yell something at them all about manners and barnyards.

Heads up ladies. Just bought this for a fiver!

    http://www.clothingattesco.com/coats+jackets/f+f-boys-fleece-pram-suit/invt/kl122120/&bklist=icat,4,buylists,featuredproducts,hot-deals

They have it in pink too. I've seen it in person and it is so thick and cosy, it's not the nicest snowsuit I've ever saw but for that price it'l be good to have a spare. I actually thought it was a good price at £12 and searched a few Tesco and could not get the size I was looking for.

    Morning btw :o
