Janninew, enjoy the photoshoot.... I had a few photos done- was around 20 weeks then and thought I looked huge. Would be very, very different now- might set my own equipment up and do a couple of self-portraits now for the size difference!
They are worth having, definitely, and ensure you enjoy every moment....

I have mild cramps up my stomach now- I am NOT going to text that to DH, he's very twitchy lately, would have the hospital bag in the car and keys in his hand in a second. Think it's because of the way I'm sitting in work- I can't slump back like on a sofa, which is the only real comfortable way now....

Sorry just catching up with thread (you know how it easy). Been pretty busy getting baby room skimmed, painted and decorated with those fisher price funtosee stickers (great they are), plus decoarting hallways and kitchen over last few months..

    Finally I am done :).

3 weeks today wife will be induced. Baby is growing big lol... but we went through a lot of tests along the way too, CVS, anomaly scan, echocardiagram heart scan at 23 weeks, 26,28 and 34 week growth scans. I think we've had about 10 scans all in all lol.

Final leg now so hopefully will all be fine for our babies. You gone through alot as well... but can understand your reason for not doing amnio. I'm suprised they combined risks like that as we only got the initial 1 in 9 chance of downs and 1 in 16 chance of patau/edwards.. we couldn't bear thought of patau or edwards so had CVS, was worst time in our lives :(. Still our baby has proved everyone wrong so far and is massive and heart seems fine too lol ;).

He was estimated at 8lbs at 34 weeks, with a term weight of 11 lbs lol!

Glad things are going well for you. We had 1in10 risk for downs but no figure given for the other 2. We also opted to have the CVS and luckily the results came back clear but can totally agree with you about what a horrible time it was!
  • Lirin - mine's exactly the same. Every time I make any kind of sound he's up like a shot!

Still no sign of JJ yet, think the !!!!!! was winding me up on Thurs with the cramps and back pain! Been for a walk around the village this morning, done a washing, hung it out, going to do another shortly, make fairy cakes, sort out the washing and hoover (and I never hoover!). Dunno whether I'm nesting or if I'm just determined to get this one out! Tried about everything so far.

  • Just learned that listening to Toby Keith is not a good idea - half the songs are about drinking and it just makes me want wine...or beer...or vodka...or Baileys...or Jack Daniels...

    Hi Ladies

Has anyone been with Lazy Daisy for Antenatal classes? They seem a hell of a lot cheaper than NCT! NCT for me was almost £275, this works out around £54-£66 for a 6 week course.
