Been nesting all afternoon. So far I've done all the ironing, on my second washing of the day, done the dishes, cleaned the smelly cupboards with bleach and hot water (so I shall stink of bleach forevermore), made my cakes, put the non-ironing clean stuff away (I draw the line at ironing OH's boxers) and been for a walk. Sat down for 5, but it's not for working, I just need to get up again!
Well there is only one thing for it then... you need to get busy in the bedroom!! I was talking to my Mum about trying to start labour and she said with all 5 of us she went into labour after getting frisky with my Dad! Might have been far to much info for me, but I'm hoping it runs in the family and will work for me when its time!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Lol, tried that the other night, along with the raspberry leaf tea (may go and have one shortly actually), hot food and walking about!

jannine, a bit TMI, but with OH having not long been home, have been doing the deed as such practically every day if not twice, and to no avail at all!!!! sooo frustrating, am bouncing on my ball as we speak researching the internet.
MW said she would give me a sweep on my due date to see if that would encourage things along, as I ha\ve this feeling I am going to go late, but that is 10 whole days away, which right now feels like a lifetime!!0 -
Janninew lmao that's a convo I REALLY don't wanna be having with my mother! Lol0

yep, lots of doing the do, without a hat on
pineapple
curry
walking around
but also think baby might need some extra time, dates could be wrong & maybe baby wants to give you one more day of rest before a lifetime of parenthood!! It was a nightmare going overdue, I hated everyday of it, but that extra time may have helped brain development? (DS v.bright!)
I'm going to try & stay chilled about when baby decides to come, but I bet I start going crazy at the end!!:j - DS - 7

I did. Couldn't stop thinking the woman in the video posted up looks like she's trying not to laugh.
It wasn't really comfortable no matter which way I tried, so gave up in the end. Bump kept getting in the way!
Glad it wasn't just me who struggled then. I still have sore lady bits today, so I woke OH this morning and demanded he have a look. He was all bleary eyed but he did it and said it looked all red  So I've had Sudocrem on today to try and calm it down.Mimi_Arc_en_ciel wrote: »Week after I have midwife, then the week after that i see her again. Am sick of seeing them now! She wants to discuss my birth plan - isnt everyones the same? baby out, baby healthly, not much pain please . . . . :rotfl:
My MW never asked to see my birth plan I had to ask her to check it to see if it was ok. She has never mentioned any classes or breast feeding or anything. All she does is check my wee and BP, baby's heart beat and then makes another appt.3 weeks today wife will be induced.
He was estimated at 8lbs at 34 weeks, with a term weight of 11 lbs lol!
Ooooh, how exciting :j 11lbs + ouch
I am absolutely shattered today, I think I over did things yesterday with the cleaning. My back/hips/pelvis have been agony and I've been hobbling like I'm 90I think an early night is on the cards and a night on the floor for OH. He has slept in our bed the past few nights which has been lovely, but I can't roll over and I am waking him up all night long.
I went to Tesco this morning before work and it took me about 30 minutes to get a bottle of 7 Up, a carton of milk and 2 bottles of squash. It's the waddling all the way to the far end of the shop that takes the time, then when I was right at the far end of the shop I got the urge to wee and had to waddle all the way back. I nearly wee'd myself by the time I got to the loos
1 more day at work then I've got a day off :j I had a meeting with my Senior today and handed over all my work to be allocated to someone else. I've just got a couple of pieces to complete in the next 2 weeks and then I'm done :j0
