I've just a had a slight panic, I was sitting down and 'shrugged' my stomach and heard this massive click, like when you crack you knuckle, coming from the top of the bump. I think baby is ok as it is moving around, but what a shock! Google gods said it could have clicky hips when it is born, but that it's nothing to worry about.

What is the wierdest thing your bumps have done to freak you out?

I had that, sort of- I sat down on my chair in work and heard a very loud gunshot sound.... few hours later my hips were so painful I decided a trip to hospital to be checked might be good- they told me I'd misaligned my pelvis and sent me to physio! Do hear the odd clicking and popping now- DH hears it too, so I'm not crazy. :rotfl:

Congrats Lucy, and Seafarers_Wife don't worry. Double glazing's usually fitted quite fast, and you won't be involved much.... I've just left one of our cars in to get a quarter panel welded on and painted- will be 2-3 weeks as the shop is busy enough- cutting it fine!

Why we all so quiet ladies? I'm putting off chores, and if someone doesn't talk soon, I'll be forced to go do them  now we don't want that do we?

Hello all. Just caught up very quickly with stuff from the last day - bit of a quiet one!

Sammy85 - that's just put the state of my house into context... no idea how you are living in the midst of that!

I got home last night to discover that 'bathroom' is no longer the correct term, seeing as there is only a toilet in there. Also to find out that b&q had not bothered to deliver the new bath which should be going in today/tomorrow and were unable to explain why it had been moved off the monday delivery schedule to thursday without telling us. In fact not only unable to explain but couldn't be bothered to apologise either. DH had to pull the pregnant hormonal wife card to insist on taking it away last night and somehow got it in the car!

Gillyx - sorry, you're probably at the housework by now.

I thought nesting was only supposed to be about cleaning - seems we're all doing major works as well...

Baby spent all last night pressed up against my ribs on the left hand side and I was unable to get comfy and in pain every time I moved. Still got another 8 weeks to go if she turns up on time. I don't want early either as antenatal classes aren't until december, plus she's already due on 2 Jan so we've got a possibility of a new year baby but in between christmas and new year would be worse. DH has been saying from the beginning though that it will save us on presents!

One of the best decisions we made when we did our bathroom.,..... They told us it would be x amount of weeks until they could deliver and fit, so we decided to have it delivered immediately and fit ourselves. With the money saved by doing all the work ourselves, we upgraded the bath to an 8-jet spa. (Bro-in-law still hasn't forgiven me for the trauma of helping haul it up the stairs...) Absolute bliss when pregnant, even if I can't get in and out of it....

Accidently dialled DH when my phone was in my pocket on my break. Cue a few panicky phone calls, which I missed because my phone's on silent. Maybe a good thing our car's in the shop- he'd have been here by now. Defcon 1 was averted. :)

Baby's moving very violently today, and I still have period pain feelings. Must be baby just moving into position or being ornery, just.

Lirin - I know it will be lovely, the tiling that's been done is looking lush, but chaos in the meantime. We've got a friend doing the actual work as DH is not at all handy around the house (utterly useless if I'm honest!) but he has helped out with fetching and carrying. It's not going to cost too much for the work thanks to mates rates, and all the fixtures and fittings have been paid for by b&q vouchers we got for wedding presents in May.

The annoying part about the deliveries is that we got sent the sink and stand which we were originally told could be up to two weeks, but not the bath which on ordering was going to be delivered last friday. They put that to monday then we don't get it at all.

I've got a little jumping bean in my belly again today - just hope that means she will move away from my ribs. I keep reading that they run out of room and move less, but it hasn't happened yet. I don't mind the movement but I hope for both of us (and probably many others) that the pain subsides!

Move less? Ha! Wish I could say they do, maybe I just have a hyperactive child...... Also possibly a demon child, as it seems to love finding the rib I broke years ago and trying to prise it apart with a foot....

My stomach looks like a WWE match is taking place inside it most days!:rotfl:

Haha, mine too Lirin! I was sat watching it move around last night and all of a sudden the front of my bump went a bit flat, then it bulged out on both sides!

Am just sat at my desk and it's moving all over the place at the moment... Earlier on I felt some kicking, put my hand on my bump and could feel a little hard bit sticking out, it kind of felt like a heel, right at the top of my bump! Baby is definitely still head down!
