i have loads of nappies too and i don't really have room to store any more! i think it depends on the person serving in the store. the other day i took 5 packets of newborns back to adsa with no receipt and she popped it one a gift card so i can now use it on anything at all! shame the store was not at all local to me
:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart :( Proven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
  • There must be something about windows and mirrors today as that is what I have been cleaning. I've been through the whole house today and ended up with back pain for my trouble :( That's what I get for having a lazy Saturday and having to do it all in one day.

Has anyone tried to do perineal massage? I watched a video on youtube
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DK2P8Ziqc6Y
and tried to do it tonight. I used olive oil as she suggested and ended up with a very sore foof, and there is no way I can reach to get my thumbs in there  regardless of what position I get myself into. OH has offered to do it for me but I really think that might just kill off any romance in our relationship forever!!

We've been to a firework display tonight with my nieces which was good fun. We took our campervan and sat in the carpark drinking hot chocolate and eating hotdogs whilst waiting for the display to start, watching everyone else freeze :D

Jen, I would try to do an exchange for the outfit you like, the worst they can do is say no :D

Perineal massage- oh that'll definitely be tried, if only for the novelty factor!

DH was watching my stomach move there- Hitchhiker was being particularly violent, and my stomach looked like it was heaving from side to side.

'Oh, your stomach looks like a big bowl of jelly!'

    Just looked at him.

'Just thought, you're really Father Christmas this year!' was the next.

Made a vague reference to ice being thinner at the centre of the lake.....

He finally came up with a save-

'Oh, what I really meant was, you'll be the one bringing the Christmas present here this year.'

    Gave him points for trying!

It's breaking my heart knowing I could be at Snow Patrol tonight, I'm actually in tears here, my OH can do nothing but laugh at me. Being pregnant really ruins all your fun :( HMPH

Yes :-( a free show too! OH's sister had 2 extra tickets. I begged and pleaded with him but he wouldnt take me. Seeing it on TV I understand why we can't be there, doesnt make it any easier though :( is it pathetic I'm so upset? :o

My other half wouldn't take me to New Model Army cos he didn't think I could stand up that long... but went without me, so I feel your pain! Then the person we were meant to watch for my birthday cancelled, and we ended up spending the night watching rubbish tv instead. I so want to go out somewhere while I still can!
