I'm hoping baby wont be born on her due date only because it's my sisters wedding day and i'm maid of honour!! Would like baby to be born in 2012 but thats only because i have a werid thing about odd numbers but then me and OH were born in odd number years(yes i am werid!) but then i would like baby to be born before christmas and we would then know that i will be going to my sisters wedding and we don't have the risk of me going into labour on her day, but at least where she is gettng married is closer to the hospital then my house!!:rotfl:But as i said before everyone thinks i will go early!
My next midwife appointment isn't until i'm 34 weeks so on 21st november my last appointment was on the 21st October (at 30weeks when i had my anti-D as well) I feel like its quite a long time without seeing my midwife. I know i can ring if i feel there is a problem but just want to know baby is growing fine as i've already had to have a growth scan and i still feel like i'm small.0 -
if i could get away with it i would be aswel, seriously i just wish she would put some bloody clothes on.0

Sadly candles don't work well in this house, I have two cats who like to jump up and knock things over so I would be forever paranoid about accidents!
I currently only have the heating on for a couple of hours in the early evening, just to take the edge off when we get home from work. We don't need it in the morning yet, plus the pipes bang quite loudly and annoy me when I'm trying to ignore the fact I should be getting up... :rotfl: I'm sure when I'm home all day it'll be a different matter, especially with a baby to keep warm but I'm happy with extra blankets and my cosy dressing gown in the evenings for now.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Raven- That's an awful way for her to have acted towards you.... Sensitivity and manners don't cost a thing (sound likemy Granny there!). Hope you are alright now? Fingers crossed for you....
Gilly- D'oh me. Forgot about Starbucks, was playing Gears of War on the Xbox...
Jen- Is it heartburn? Randitidine does work, for me anyway.
Boat Girl- Big congrats on Tabitha May! Love the name, was one we'd considered.
I'm due on the 8th now- which means if I go overdue, it'll put me in Christmas Week. On one hand, I wouldn't mind that as from a selfish perspective, it would solve all the hassle over where we spend Christmas- save all the running around. On the other, I'd love Hitchhiker to have two presents every year, not one!
It would have been my nephew's 3rd birthday today, haven't really been sad, but have been thinking of him a lot. Would have loved if he'd been here today. He was so happy though, it is very hard to think of him and not smile.
Haven't done a lot. Played Xbox with a friend, who wiely decided he'd be best arriving with buns for us to eat. Feed the pregnant lady! 15's and Lemon Slices.... yum! Did ironing and washing up, and am now in living room on bouncy ball (still can't rid my head of the baby bouncing out image), with two snoring mafogglies sprawled out beside me on the floor. They've been good big mutts today.

has anyone been cheeky enough to try swapping newborn huggies nappies for something else other than nappies? they have a snow suit in tesco i love but it is expensive was wondering if i could swap nappies for it? or is that just to cheeky
I've returned ALOT of stuff to Tesco without a receipt, it's always got to be swapped for something from the same department, so clothes for clothes etc.
Recently returned a steriliser and swapped for nappies, dummies, muslins etc, all out of the 'baby' department.
My experience has always been they are very strict on this.
Like previously said, take in some CC vouchers & double up.:j - DS - 7

Jen, i've not had earache, but i have had horrible stuffy nose through the pregnancy, and worse the last 3 weeks. Congestion and swollen passages is supposed to be quite common so it could be that your sinuses or eustachian tubes are blocked which is causing the earache? Maybe have a bath with a v steamy bathroom, or just do a bowl of hot water and towel over the head to inhale and try and clear everything out?Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I've never dared, though I was tempted! I've got loads of nappies, but not many blankets, a trade would be great. My Tesco is really fussy even about switching nappy sizes without a receipt, but don't know if it is just that particular one?
On the nappy front, just found this for free nappies:

My heating is staying off as long as possible, as heating the place for the baby is going to bankrupt me!My next midwife appointment isn't until i'm 34 weeks so on 21st november my last appointment was on the 21st October (at 30weeks when i had my anti-D as well) I feel like its quite a long time without seeing my midwife. My appointments are 6 weeks apart, seems like forever!0
