Alright, which of you told me the jab was a good thing, I'm gonna kick your !!!!!!. i suffer chronic back pain anyway but now its worse! (im blaming jab. OH blaming pregnancy) I can bearly move and been crying with pain :'-(0

Aimless, sounds like a good plan to me. If your levels are about average, then you shouldnt need to take loads of it anyway! I have tried it by itself , and its not vile but not pleasant, hence why i followed the M/W advice to use OJ! Anything with Vit C in it (apple juice for the apple flavour one maybe?) should be a good base to mix it into.
Hmmmm, OJ sounds good, but think of the heartburn!I've been sticking to apple as it feels slightly less acidy. Apparently you're not meant to take grape juice with the iron, or I'd have that.
Think baby is having a halloween party on my bladder tonight, could really go a big cuppa too, but not sure if it'l have me up all night
I really fancy some nice juice or similar, but know the heartburn would keep me up! Lots of high up kicks today, so bladder is getting a break and it's all heartburn instead.0 -
I haven't been told I need to take iron supplements yet but I've been taking the Spatone liquid sachets, just one every other day. If I mix it with anything other than OJ it tastes horrible! But in OJ I can't taste it at all
And I haven't noticed any side effects either.
Glad to hear your OH is on his way back, missymoo, that must be a relief for you.
Hope everyone has had a good day! Sorry to those with aches and pains... I've noticed my lower back gets aches towards the end of the day so am expecting that to get worse...
Hi to the 'newbies', hope your pregnancies are going well so far
Anyway, am off to bed. Good luck to boat girl for your induction tomorrow!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Oowwww. I am in pain today. I swear this baby is trying to escape, he'd better think again!
Got a bit of a bargain today. Asda had a big stack of nappies with damaged boxes, all reduced down to £6-£7 but mostly size 5/6's. They did have one box though of Huggies newborn 3's and the lovely lady on the till even let me use £2 off voucher so got a box of 75nappies for £4.
Bought this too which I absolutely love:

I just wanted to have a quick rant about other pregnancy forums, Maybe I'm just being a tad hormonal and will get annoyed over the other thing but if I see another thread entitled '8 weeks scan with potty shot, gender guesses please xxxxxxxx' or 'gender guess for my 4 cell embryo please xxxx' i will scream
Ok slight elaboration on the titles but i use babyandbump and thats all there is in the 2 tri forum apart from some 'OMG i just ate some Feta, will I die?'
rant over.
Actually it seems to have calmed down over the weekend.
Haha I feel exactly the same! I've been on babyandbump but tend to stay out of the 2nd tri & stay in the twins & multiples forum. Its a bit more private like here.
Although 5 pages to read in only 24 hours!! You ladies can talk!!
Lol

I'm just wondering what you all do about stretch marks. I started off when I first found out I was pregnant using the Cocoa Butter but didn't really like the smell so switched to Bio Oil. However, the last couple of weeks my stretch marks have become really itchy so I switched back to the Cocoa Butter as it's a cream rather than oil and I thought it would be more soothing. It's not working and my stretch marks are getting itchier by the day! I'm trying not to scratch but it's getting more difficult not to. Does anyone else get itchy stretch marks? If so, how do you cope with them? Can anyone suggest anything other than the Cocoa Butter or Bio Oil that will sooth the itch? It's driving me insane!

Hate to be the one to tell you but there is no scientific proof ANY creams will reduce stretch marks0 -
Have to say, I've given up on stretch mark creams and such.
Did well with DD, till about 30 weeks then I got loads of marks.
I figure a few more with Flump won't make a difference
And Annabella, the thumper range Asda have at the minute is gorgeous.
OH already bought the 2 diffferent thumper outfits, dungarees, snowsuit and blanket, so I figured we should have the full set lol :rotfl:
9 shifts left now till I finish work, thank godx

I know they won't reduce. I just want the itching to stop and wondered if anybody use anything that works for them.0
