Alizee & Happydays77, Hiya and welcome!

WW, Not a bad day, thanks for asking. HR met with me- it was less than 5 mins, and the general gist was ignore manager, he has no idea what he's talking about. We will fully pay you while you're on antenatal appointments, etc, etc, and massive apologies. And the tubigrip is fantastic compared to my support belt- it was hurting me. Weird to put it on, and extremely unsexy, but I don't care! Well, I do, but comfort in work is more important at the mo. 8 days left!

Missymoo- I'm actually a bit scared to bounce on my ball this close to the end, in case I bounce baby out....
I was told I'd misaligned something in my pelvis, glad it wasn't a dislodged sacroilliac joint though, as that sounds painful.... Feel for you and seafarers_wife.

BM- I leave next Fri on Mat leave (Remembrance Day!), and I've just been told a girl will be available for me to train in just over two weeks. I'll leave that one with them then :) ..... Nice was killing himself laughing telling me, so all I've done is left a few pages detailing what I do and where everything is. The hard stuff I'll come in on KIT days for. Let your boss worry about training a replacement, that's her headache! They've had months of knowing you're going off- same as my work, who only advertised my position a week ago.

Cloudberry- Lavender is a brilliant oil for healing, will just caution though- it's fantastic for scars, stretchmarks, etc. However, if anyone's trying it, do not put neat lavender on your skin as it can cause minor irritation. It needs diluted with almond/ grapeseed as a base. (Sorry, used to date an idiot whose mum was an aromatherapist- I make a lot of my own oil blends now.) Almond oil is great for improving skin and nails. I don't know of any problems using Lavender in pregnancy, but it's not something I've ever checked up on really!

Steph- I use oil blends on my stomach- I do have stretchmarks, as Hitch keeps deciding to move quite violently, but I will treat when he/she is born to try reduce. There isn't anything that can prevent them unfortunately. I did well up til 32 weeks, then woke up to find a decent replication of the outline of the Dolomite mountains on my stomach. (Thanks, Hitch!). I'm just followiung someone else on here (WW?) who keeps moisturiser in the fridge ansd slathers it on!

I came into the house last night, mumbled stuff at DH, who'd made two burgers each for us, and sat down to eat them. According to DH, I ate one, then rather smartly fell asleep on top of the other one. Thankfully didn't squirt sauce anywhere! :) DH threw a quilt over me- and I slept!!!! Finally!!! Slept til 0330, so very good. :)

Had a dream I headed into use the disabled toilets in work and literally had a 17-sec labour and had to call Nice from my mobile to help!

(wow, sorry for the length of that- I've probably still forgotten someone....)

Lucy- that is weird! Makes mine look completely normal. :)
  • seafarers_wife -- My Sacrio joint is much better now - I really do think the yoga has helped (although could not have done this during the most painful time) along with the constant hot and cold for a couple of weeks. When the joint had come out of line it tore the muscle around it and caused muscle spasms/cramps which was unbelievable pain. I started taking magnesium citrate tablets from Holland & Barrett - this is supposed to be good for reducing muscle cramps and a few other things I cant quite remember. Now I just get soreness in the joint/ hip but then thats kind of normal during pregnancy anyway so im glad im doing much better now.

I was asking my midwife about tea tree, and she said you're ok with TLC, which I think she said stood for tea tree, lavender and chamomile?

Morninggg. Finished my book last night and the ending was CRAP! That's what I get for cadging the free books from the Kindle store :o Was so gutted too, stayed up late to finish it as I thought it was gonna get juicy.

Got a few important calls out of the way this morning, no wait time at all in the call centres  someone is looking out for me.

R.e the iron supplements, my iron level thingy was 17, the midwife/doctors couldn't believe it, it's at the top of the accepted level, no idea why it's so high, as I don't eat a lot of red meat, do eat a lot of veg though, but hmm.

R.e the stretchmarks, I don't think the creams take them away, BUT the few that have appeared on me, are nice and silvery, and not red and angry, which is what the creams do in my opinion. I can live with the silvery ones, I've had them all over the top of my legs since teens anyway.

I'm currently waiting in for my parcelforce parcel to arrive, bloomin' shocking I had to pay £18 for a 48 hour service, I was not nice to the lady at the post office when I posted it, next time I will take a bigger suitcase! Not sure if the thing will arrive though if silly people keep driving up my street which is one way, the wrong way?!?!

Wow what a rant/long post this morning, hope everyone is keeping well.

Rosewood, Geranium, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Lemon, Sandalwood, and Bergamot.

Had to look that up for the oils in it, knew there were a few! :D
Designed originally as a support during cjildbirth to calm- whether it's rubbed, burned, incensed- not sure. Would imagine it's a burn.
