Im not sure if i should cancel my antenatal classes or not. The only NHS or NCT ones I can get onto start at the begining of december, and as im being induced 2 weeks early (date tbc) i think i might as well cancel as i will only get a week of classes before having baby. Would you ladies cancel or stick it out?0

I came into the house last night, mumbled stuff at DH, who'd made two burgers each for us, and sat down to eat them. According to DH, I ate one, then rather smartly fell asleep on top of the other one. Thankfully didn't squirt sauce anywhere!
DH threw a quilt over me- and I slept!!!! Finally!!! Slept til 0330, so very good.

Pleased to hear that you got sorted with HR
I've seen the MW this afternoon, I mentioned the recent articles that had been in the news about elective sections and she knew nothing about it, which is bizarre as it has been all over the papers and news on TV.
Anyway, she is now a bit confused as to which way up baby is, and she thinks s/he could be breech. I've got a consultant appointment in 2 weeks so have to ask them to check. Other than that she said baby is brim and sitting right on my pelvis now, so I see her again in 4 weeks.
I'm starving, I had my lunch at about 10am :rotfl:0 -
We've got our antenatal day on the 10th December, four workshops! I was given a form to fill in at my first scan, saying what times etc would be more convenient, so I filled it in and sent it off, expecting them to all be booked on different days, but they sent a letter a couple of weeks ago saying we were booked in for the all day session. Not sure if it'll be information overload though , to get it all in one day!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0

Am knackered, decided was going to have a go at sainbo's brandmatch so spent stupid amount of time on mysupermarket working out what to buy, did 2 shops and put branded goods through first got voucher for almost £7 then used it against my normal shop and got another voucher for almost £2 as I had stupidly put a couple of branded items with the normal shop still not bad!!! as max is £10. We have no asda near so its worth it for me but is a bit of a faff and it feels a bit 'blind' as you really dont know what worked though mine appears to have done well!!
Though sainsbo's have still made a profit as they had 25% off clothing so got some sale baby clothes and a dress with *extra* room for breast feeding and expansion :rotfl:worth a look if you are going anyway, there was a seperate freestanding rail of baby stuff

re antenatal hope those who have booked in enjoy them:D
we are still not doing them just watching the birthwise dvd etc (8hrs) watched the breastfeeding bit the other day and all the blokes on the dvd were ejected as they brought in women to demonstrate and share their experiences so hubby got full nipple close up's as he was not ejected :rotfl::rotfl:the birth stories were interesting too although one woman clearly was still upset but she was the one who strongly wanted less intervention and then ended up with c section etc so I am deffo going down the open minded what will be will be and not ruling anything out.0 -

... not sure asam not doing the classes, however is this your first baby? how much would you have to pay if you do the nct? Presumably the nhs one is free but is this one session as some ladies seem to have just one day rather than several sessions?
I do think the birthwise dvd is good from what I have seen but this is my first baby though  so cant say that it covers everything but it is a filmed antenatal class, with experts at the end of the dvd.
so maybe combination of nhs 'real' class and birthwise dvd if the nct one is expensive and you wont do most of it? also worth asking MW think they may have something eg a dvd (not the birthwise one but maybe something else)?0 -
birthwise dvd, erm what's this and why don't I have one!?0

....... sorry to confuse you, as I was not doing classes its a dvd I picked for us (its a filmed antenatal class) so that we had some preparation (could not trust that oh would not faint at 'real' classes when subjected to TMI pictures etc, its available from amazon etc0
