erm mine was pretty early about 18 weeks maybe sooner, you might just have heart burn anyway hun.
well done on one day down on the work front jenjade,
YYYYYYYYYYYaaaaaaaaaaaYYYYYYY OH just text to say that he's landed, now the 3 hr journey back from gatwick and he'll be home!!!0 -
I'm KNACKERED today too Jen. Still got a month of going to work to face, and then till xmas working from home. Was in back to back meetings 8.30-2.30 today, in the same room even, so sat still on my bum for over 6 hours. Not good. Then had to hobble down some stairs when we finished (no lift) as my back and hips had totally siezed up.
Well done for getting stuff sorted today Missy. My DH wold LOVE me to stock the fridge with beer for him but aint gonna happen. I'm just really irritable with him at the mo. Having fundamentally refused to read the stuff with my birth hypnotherapy, or the chapter on labour in the book i bought him, i got home and had lecture from him about an article he read from some woman about how the "right way" to give birth is in the semi dark, with music (not nec arguing there), no pain relief, no intervention, standing over a bean bag, shortly followed up with when i said my back hurt, with another "bit of research" that said 70% of people with back pain could improve it with yoga. My response was more or less, "thats nice for them, are they pregnant with a baby lying on the sciatic nerve". I went into the kitchen to find various mugs, plates and cutlery of his from today all over the kitchen surfaces (not even stacked), then went upstairs to find the loo i cleaned yesterday has a new crop of poo splatters all round it (sorry TMI!), which when i got arsey, he tried to blame on cat litter (but gave quickly gave that one up).
I really cant bare living in the house sometimes. Too small, no storage, and a DH that keeps buying more stuff for building his computers that lies all over the place, he does Sweet FA and really doesnt even see when things need to be done, and i just refuse to do it all myself. GARRRRR. Rant over, boy am i crabby.
On the upside, this HUGE bundle of baby blankets and bits arrived today. Won it on ebay over the weekend, just been looking at it, and what a bargain. Its all in almost perfect condition, and i've seen a few of the things in there in shops for £20 each! Only paid £14 inc over half for postage!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Thanks Missy.. it sounds horrible, but i REALLY wish my DH would go out more, I've always liked my own space, so having a DH who wokrs from home alot, and doesnt go out socially much either, is hard going! Glad your fella is nearly home. Must be really reassuring for you with bean due soon!
OOh books, Fabby! Glad they have arrived!
Not sure on dinner. We have a cottage pie in the fridge, so might go for that. Really thirsty today as well.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Kira, I know where you're coming from, infact exactly where you're coming from. Men do not think at all at times, no forethought to what would help us out at least a little bit. I had a proper rant at mines yesterday and it took for me to be crying so much I couldn't breathe for him to understand. I've agreed to calm down and speak to him in a better manner and he's agreed to help a bit more. Take tonight for example, helped me clean up the table after dinner, scraped the plates, and rinsed them and I put them in the dishwasher. Such a small act but I'm so grateful that he did, and thanked him for it.
Missymoo, we had a fry up (well grilled) it was yummy. I have some caramel ice cream for afters, he has mint choc chip, we're both stuffed though so will have to wait.
Tonights plans for me are to get my Maternity Allowance forms filled out, as they can be sent away from tomorrow! Sort out all our baby clothes to figure out exactly what we have, and what we still need. We have virtually no newborn stuff at all, not sure how much we'l need. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
